Sad this hasn't been updated further

I know that this story is almost a decade old... but it REALLY needs an epilogue. lol A time-skip of at least a few years or so... we need to see Ukitake's illness taken care of, some weight put on, and even a few babies!

It really is a damn shame this story hasn't been updated in over seven years and I consider myself quite fortunate that I decided to read it despite knowing it wasn't finished. It is, as strange as it feels to use such words, a rather adorable story.

I feel like this would've been far better if you would've kept it more of a slow burn romance with a bit of humor, instead of a comedy sketch with some romance in it. I really enjoyed the beginning of this story. It focused mostly on Ichigo and Ukitake and their budding friendship. The build up of their oncoming relationship felt realistic and unhurried, and the dashes of humor here and there worked really well. Fast forward to around chapter 10 and now it is so hectic. They no longer get much alone time and the pace of their relationship has been butchered. Now we have around a dozen different characters that feel the need to include themselves into Ichigo and Ukitake's business constantly. It has become almost completely about a group of women trying to get them together or spy on them. I hate this group.
