OK so, I'm almost done with this story. It's been amazing so far, the writing is simple and easy to read and understand. It's a nice twist on the Princess and the Frog fairytale.
I like the little snaps of humour and the hints of fluff between Hinata and Naruto.

As someone who has studied fairy tales before, there was always something lacking in them that had prevented me from enjoying them as much as everyone else did. This right here exemplifies what a good fairy tale would be like. Sure, there were some things that could have been expanded upon (such as Hinata getting to know Naruto more when he was in his frog form and what their past interactions were like besides the few glimpses you gave us) but if you were trying to make a homage to the short length of fairy tales then I can see why you had to cut some things short.

It's just that in retrospect, their interactions were mostly about Naruto spending a few minutes each time trying to get her to help him before the next interruption ensued. There was no other 'personal' or actual conversation they shared since they were so busy running around for their lives. Which is why it was hard for me to see how invested Hinata finally came to be in helping him at the end here. Yes, you did reveal that they had a history together before their 'official' face-to-face, which I am glad that you did because not only was it a pretty neat and poignant story but it also further cemented their foundation as friends before (unknowingly) but other than a few glimpses of their past interactions, I could not feel this supposedly 'strong' bond yet. But I'm sure if you had revealed more slices of her interaction with him then as a reader, I would feel more connected to Hinata's feelings.

But even without all of that, the transition to her confession of sorts was pretty natural. Your input on what 'true' love really is - and not that silly romance that old fairy tales abide by AKA the princess falls in love right away with the prince mostly due to his dashing good looks (which is why I like how you brought up that Hinata would kiss this boy she wouldn't know but not someone who actually needs her help). And how you wrapped it all together in the end - just, it was great. Besides what I had discussed about above, this was an enjoyable read.

I love this story so much!
Its short and cute and I love the whole Ino and Kiba thing in the background- the whole red riding hood thing and him blowing down the architecture project bit I absolutely loved the ending when Hinata and Naruto have their first kiss. I would be begging for a sequel but I think this story is best left on its own because the ending was very well written albeit final. Anyways I love your writing and PLEASE write more NaruHina stories because I have read your other stories (Moonstruck and Sunbeam) and they were beautiful! Honestly you are a TRULY talented writer so keep writing ;)
