I think this is quite sweet, really. Lead me to start thinking about Daeron. I suppose it's quite possible that while the rest of the Elves thought Beren and Luthien a very heroic tale, he might well have just regretted the fact that his love was an Elf-lady that had truly given up her life. Which put him in rather a unique position amongst the Elves, really! Good tale, though, keep it up!
