I think this is some highly original stuff. You have definetly caught my attention, which is difficult because I am usually off hunting in the triassic wasteland :) But seriously, I am a raptor, and this was really, really good.

PS Your prose is extremely poetic sand detatched, which suits the mood of the the fiction very well. Also, your original idea for the monster "The Hostage" is right on the money. Awesome

And yet, it seems like what Silent Hill would really be like in the real world...as dark as the games are, they do seem a bit sanitized at times...I like this...
