Respectfully, I'd like to say that all of the surprise changes in POV in one chapter is...jolting and messy. I could sing my praises of this story, 'cause I really like it - the tension, most of the style, Derek and his thoughts, the scene where he's working out - but all of the POV hopping is so disorganized. I think separating Derek and Casey thoughts and actions by chapters would be a huge help.

This is the best LWD fic I've read so far and my god if it wasn't already brilliantly written, it switched POV and is written in second person. All the awards for you.

I was teetering on my laptop what with all the angst that's been going on throughout the 10 chapters. And the twist! oh what a twist! I was already bracing myself for an unhappy ending but the last few paragraphs just threw me away! I had to re-read it a few times just to make sure.

You, Sir/Madam, are an excellent writer. You've gotten Casey's and Derek's voices exactly as I'd imagine it'd be if LwD were to continue. Please write more. My sanity may depend on it.

I have never-NEVER-seen someone manage to write a story with such a bizarre way of doing perspective (from the "you" point of view and switching from Derek to Casey with no warning whatsoever) and PULL IT OFF SO BRILLIANTLY! Seriously! With that style, it should have been confusing as hell, but it wasn't! It was perfect! And it was Dasey, which automatically makes it amazing!

Excellent! I really liked the second-person narrative, it's something you don't usually see and you've done it very well. Your Casey and Derek had the perfect amount of chemistry and though I haven't watched the show in years, they seemed true to character in an evolved sort of way. I always love a story that really draws me into the romance and tension and if this was a book, I couldn't put it down.

Oh and what was in the envolope?

... Wow. There are no words for this piece of writing. Except wonderful, amazing, deep, heart-felt aand every other word within that catagory. But I do have one question, what exactly happened to Dex? I don't like him but I'mn reading this at 1:20 in the morning and I am not at my most coherent. So if you get the chance I would love a explaination.

Again LOVE the story and thank you for putting this much effort into it.
