The game is still awsome. heck I've played it several times over. but miror B still scares me...

I truly enjoyed this. You portrayed Wes and Rui's quirky relationship amazingly, which is quite a feat considering their lack of development in the game. There was a lack of clarity at times, but I believe that it worked well for the purposes of the story. Wes’s ascent/descent was well done and believable, and Rui still having feelings for him is so very typical of her.

"45 Victory

He doesn’t tilt her chin to stare wistfully into her eyes, nor does he wipe away her tears, no; he looks at her (all broken bones, fractured symphonies) and smiles, “Stand up, silly girl, you’ve won; the victor isn’t supposed to look so sad.”

46 Defeat

This feels nothing like victory."

Those two lines juxtaposed are so utterly bittersweet.

Overall, wonderful work – Pokemon Colosseum isn’t given the appreciation it deserves in fanfiction, and even when fic for it is written, it tends to be a bit run of the mill. This stands out in a sea of stories that are clones of one other.
