Natalie chapter 1 . 5/30 To anyone who has a problem with this story, why are you here? Legitimately, why are you in a Star Trek/Bible crossover thread if you have a problem with Christianity and/or Christian analogies? It’s fine if you have those opinions, but if you do, why did you choose to find and read this story? Just know that the people who you are criticizing and/or hating on love you and our God does too, infinitely more. |
WonderBlonde chapter 1 . 12/14/2015 Beautiful gospel message! |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/31/2014 Hey thanks for the bible study. Be blessed! |
sassyfriend chapter 1 . 9/3/2014 I really liked this |
DianaThen chapter 1 . 12/20/2013 We need fics like this. Just every once in a while. The reviews are giving me hope. Missile - I respect your opinion, but while it may be true that this was not Roddenberry's intended message, that does not change the fact that it is an analogy that Window Girl recognized. I don't see any indication that she is trying to make a statement about the writers' beliefs. She is merely sharing her own, using some "real life characters" to do it. In my humble opinion it's extremely clear "what parts were taken from Gene's original efforts, and which were introduced by someone who's clearly a non-trekker." Just something to consider. :) Window Girl—the only thing I have to offer other than a general feeling of contentedness is that Lucy seems a bit too naïve to be twelve. She speaks like a younger child than that, I do believe. God bless. |
JEREMY chapter 1 . 1/20/2013 I intend to make some copies of this post and share them with my pastor and fellow members,so they can see why STAR TREK speaks to me so strongly, and why this saga has endured as long as it has. You certainly can't gain insights like this from any of those so-called 'reality' shows. Thank you for this. May we all...Live Long and Prosper. |
Shinigami Miroku chapter 1 . 8/7/2012 Y'know, I've seen that episode many times (though not once since I accepted Jesus as my Lord), but I don't think I'd have made that connection even now. Just one more piece of evidence that God is awesome, right? :D Live long and prosper in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. |
Omilophile chapter 1 . 6/22/2011 HA! Spread the Truth! Not a huge fan of Star Trek, but I do enjoy the occasional episode. Anyway, well done. |
Artemis Sherwood chapter 1 . 5/29/2011 Dude, I love it. Bible McCoy Awesomness. I love, love, love, love it! You should write more of these. Luv, Artemis Sherwood |
xtin2000 chapter 1 . 6/17/2010 this is a beautiful comparison! What a wonderful way to teach a twelve-year-old girl about Jesus :) Everyone should have a mother as creative as yourself! |
Ditte3 chapter 1 . 5/9/2010 Great story.I often watch Star Treck nowdays.I'm a you for speaking about Jesus and what he did for bless you. |
missile chapter 1 . 12/13/2009 Odd outlook, considering Gene Roddenberry's views on religion. I mean, i could see a fanfic where a christian character inflicts his or her ministry on the science-minded intellectuals of Starfleet. At least it'd be clear what parts were taken from Gene's original efforts, and which were introduced by someone who's clearly a non-trekker But using it as if it existed for the purpose of spreading a Word that Gene disagreed with? I have to call foul. It'd be right up there with using The Omega Glory to prove that Gene favored communism. |
LilacFaLaBraue chapter 1 . 9/19/2009 Wow. Can you do more episode comparations? |
Kissa Lady chapter 1 . 8/4/2009 That was great. I recognized that episode, but couldn't see how you could talk about the Lord through it. Wow, I was blind. |
