Great start, a very interesting story line.

What a spectacular ending! I loved Eric and Leif in their matching pants, how ridiculous Eric's report made Felipe look, and how Sookie's people all gathered around her in solidarity. Then the kiss and Sookie's public claiming of Eric. LOL at Queen Maggie going after Leif now. Which, come to think of it, implies that Leif WASN'T available before because of Sookie! Great story. Adding it to my favorites.

Yummy, the final exchange! And everything's on schedule to defeat Felipe. Plus I'm shipping Pam and future Justine!

LOL at Felipe the Latin Lover! Also wow, Sookie can't resist Eric. I'm glad she believes Leif will remain loyal. I've got dibs on him

Oh crap, now I have to worry that my hottie Leif is gonna betray Sookie. But hopefully he has more honor than that. Hilarious how Eric caught Victor! And how shocked he was to learn the vampire way and what makers can do.

Clever Eric to realize King Cyril must be the traitor. I didn't figure that out. Then Victor thinking he could manipulate Felipe! But oh Leif. Eric's mad at Leif, not Sookie, and I don't blame him. But I feel sad for Leif, and I really want to comfort him for his loss. LOL! I'm glad Sookie resisted and told him how she feels about Eric (again)

You really pack a lot into one chapter! First, TG for Pam the translator! Once Eric understood, he went back and did a good job sussing out good intel. Then Eric did a great job in the office spotting good talent, Sookie's excellent policies, and more extremely yummy sex.

Michael's pledge was odd. And Eric's not understanding Sookie's position, but she did sound condescending when she brought up their ages and go to bed. And this night started so promising!

Human Eric plans as well as vampire Eric; thinking in depth about Jackson Herveaux. Damn, that hauberk is heavy. Eric did better than expected against Leif. LOL that telepathic talking came in handy a lot quicker than they suspected.

Oh no you didn't! A 1,000 year old Viking vampire sheriff who looks so much like Eric they could be related, and who Pam would've stayed with if she was attracted to men. He's so yummy, and he wanted to be Sookie's mate. I can't believe she resisted him! Well, she resisted his heart, but that's all. OMG Eric beat him in the sword fight.

Whew those were some smoking hot love scenes. Once again, the shoe's on the other foot regarding past lovers. And Leif, huh? Paint me curious!

What a switch! Human Eric wants to be turned to remain with Sookie forever. I thought they were gonna fight about her hesitation, but she made a good point about daytime security and waiting till after the crisis. His fencing skills impressed Sookie *smirk*

That was so sweet when Eric asked Pam to be his sister! It sounds like the new wedding negotiations will stall things a bit. And then the gift that keeps on giving! Yummy and sexy hot!

What an Eric he is, almost joining the Olympic fencing team, and thinking strategically about how to defend himself around his home. He and Pam handled Herveaux and Son perfectly. I'm glad Alcide wasn't involved, and was appalled by his father.
