I’ve often speculated on the possibilities of Sir Percy rescuing his old enemy. This was fun to read, especially since it was so clearly written by someone who read and loved the original books. I don’t know if you’ll see this, since it’s been so long since the posting date, but thank you for writing and sharing!

I loved how when Percy rescued Chauvelin the second time, all he can say is "I hate you." The points of view between the two men were dead on. Great story!

This is very interesting! Original! Great! I like the way you add the material from Sir Percy Hits Back to this epilogue to "Triumph"-the relationship between the two men is well done, and that line about how could he face Marguerite without giving this rescue the old college try was also nice.
