xDazedandConfusedX chapter 1 . 7/25/2011 haha! loved it. Mrs. L (or should I say, Mrs. T) was so pathetic. lol I loved your cute little comments, "she had put on a few pounds since she became Mrs. Todd," lol. Good job :D |
unamuerte chapter 1 . 7/16/2009 What can I say? This is so clever - I really believed it was Sweeney speaking. I love what-if by the sea fics, but this is probably the most realistic I've encountered. What really makes the story is your writing - I could go on and on about the descriptions - I love how Sweeney describes her dress as "Yellow, the color of piss with ink." It's so him. Gah I love Mrs Lovett but you actually had me sympathising with him lol...I do hope you write more disturbingly sick and yet wonderfully addictive stories for us to read! *Goes off to find the story favourite button, so she'll stop garbling on like Mrs Lovett* |
Charmes Malheureux chapter 1 . 7/11/2009 HAHA! Dude, I did not see that coming. I'm a Sweenett fan, but you know, this works too. (: Anyway, this was surprisingly well written, and I mean that in the nicest possible way. There are a lot of not-so-good 'Sweeney and Lovett get away and start a new life' fics out there, but I liked this one, especially the single words in between each section. My favorite was: "A large tear welled in her left eye, and spilled down her cheek as her eyes glazed into a deathly stare, her body falling to it’s knees, and finally crumpling in a heap on the floor like an old sack. Meat." xDD that's awesome. I also liked the part about Mrs. Lovett "putting on a few pounds since she became Mrs. Todd." Haha. Poor Sweeney. Welcome to married life. Thanks for a good read. (: |
Slashers R Us chapter 1 . 7/11/2009 Well finally! -rolls eyes- I thought this would never happen! But it's good that it did, cause I always love your writing...and now you can start on your second chapter to your original story...-threatening glare- |
Obscure Bird chapter 1 . 7/11/2009 *GASP!* He killed Mrs. Lovett! Ha ha ha! That's a good twist, though! Most of these, "by the sea" stories end with him suddenly deciding, "Oh. So I'll just love Mrs. Lovett now." Which is usually pretty badly done. Your ending is just great, though. Definitely A. I kind of like the way you split up his observations with the short little thoughs... I gave it an interesting rythm. Like a limp. Funnily enough, if you hear the whole song of "By The Sea" in one of the older versions, Mrs. Lovett wants to open a guest house and let Sweeney off the guests occasionally. :D Awesome job, boss. Congratulations on a bloodthirsty family. The family that slays together, stays together, right? |
