CityofJade chapter 5 . 3/12/2018 Seeing as I have only just finished, I can hardly form a coherent thought about this masterpiece. You had me fully invested from the very first moment, and immersed soon after. The tale you have woven truly withstands the bonds of time and I salute you. Thank you for this story. |
mamita chapter 5 . 6/2/2014 Hello, I loved your fic, I prefer Ed uke, I love the couple RoyxEd, and AlxEd couple, although the couple AlfonsxEd I love, especially because I love Ed, although sometimes silly, and Roy is even more silly and perverted before, hopefully do more fics of them, you still so thanks and kisses. |
NinthFeather chapter 5 . 12/13/2011 This is fantastic. I love the way this is sort of AU and sort of not. Everyone's in character, it was a delight to read...seriously, great job |
gatogirl1 chapter 4 . 11/20/2011 The beginning of this story was a little slow- a lot of information coming our way as you wrote about Ed and Al's time at the monastary, but I can hardly slow my eyes down, I'm so excited to see what happens next! And I am so worried about Al! |
Chiiyo86 chapter 5 . 9/4/2011 This was a really good AU. I enjoyed the double storylines - Mustang's quest, and Ed's - and the attention paid to details, especially about how it would be different for Ed if he couldn't get automails. The part where Ed watches Dante and Hohenheim take Al's soul without being able to do anything was very powerful and almost brought me to tears. |
wishfulliving89 chapter 5 . 6/27/2011 love the story. very well written is this the end of it? |
hakuna177 chapter 1 . 1/11/2011 Wow, this is really turning out to be a very interesting and intriguing read! I love your attention to detail and I actually like your long chapters. The part where Al said that he can't stop looking 'cause he can't close his eyes struck a chord. I think it was powerful so great job with that D And omg I was really starting to like Brother Matthew and you went and killed him D8 Jac |
kateydidnt chapter 5 . 12/23/2010 o, fantastic story, but I really want to see what happens after they get back and Ed and Al run into Hohenheim. |
dreamschemer chapter 5 . 11/7/2010 Holy damn this is an awesome story. And you finished it, too. Thanks so much for sharing your work! |
WolfsTrinity chapter 5 . 6/25/2010 Quite the good story. Impressive, for sure. And Ed even got his limbs back in the end! Not what I would've expected, or perhaps liked(I'm quite a fan of Ed with his automail) but still, a good ending. Open-ended, but happy, full of possibility. |
Scholars at Large chapter 5 . 4/17/2010 It was an interesting idea and story, though covered a large scope of time in very few chapters. I liked that it was self contained, but I felt it could have gone more in depth on characterization and such if you hadn't used time skips quite as much. Overall I liked the characterizations and the general plot though. By having Ed and Al be young children when they arrived you managed to give them slightly different personalities than in cannon while making it seem entirely realistic. Good job. |
Blonde-Existentialist chapter 5 . 2/26/2010 Hum, very interesting completely AU verse that works completely alternatively to any of the canon but still includes the characters accurately. I like that you set it right when they transmuted, so their still young children and don't have any of the experience or connections to the other characters or background knowledge of their personalities that comes up so frequently in the Movie. Very good, self contained piece. |
M chapter 5 . 1/23/2010 This was a pretty good story. Im surprised there are not more reviews. The setting was very convincing. If there is anything I can critique you on, I think the ending was a bit anti-climatic. |
ZaKai chapter 5 . 9/3/2009 Fantastic story! I loved how well written and detailed it was. I really enjoyed your characterization. The ending was really well done too. It left me with a slight nastalgic feeling. Awesome fic. *favs* - Z |
Amethyst-eyed Koneko chapter 5 . 8/27/2009 wow! What an amazing story! There wasn't anything I didn't like - awesome characters (Ed's was especially well done! Life for a handicapped person way back then had to be its own special kind of hell), rich detailed settings, and a storyline that flowed well and was intriguing from beginning to end! I was almost heart broken at the very end because I thought Ed and Al had been returned to the basement in the past but was very pleased to realize that it was in fact the same basement but in the future and they were finally home - healthy, whole, and home! :) Again, awesome fic! I loved it and am adding this to my community! :D |
