Wow, nice to find out more about Aislinn and yet that just makes things even more interesting. You made her more real and more closely tied to Ezra and Vin. The bit about her going to jail was a nice touch and finding out they are all related was very cool. Hope that you will continue this series and I would love to find out more about this family. Ouch! You whumped Ezra but good in this; the pain just radiates off the page. The despiration of the team in trying to get a lead and figure out who grabbed Ezra really came thru. JD pointed Vin in the right direction; thinking about Aislinn and what she said; and the connection came thru fast. Love that Rory really didn't do a good job of covering his tracks. He tried to torture Ezra but his heart wasn't in it. Loved the discussion about just what makes a brother and Rory's vague realization that Keith wasn't a very good brother to him. Ezra's statements were so short but powerful. Nice that Rory gave up the idea of killing Ezra and that the team got there to hear what was said. Vin's realization of just what happened was a very strong scene. Aislinn helped Vin get over his guilt about the attack; Ezra certainly doesn't blame him. Love the scene at the end; true brotherhood indeed. Wonderful Ezra and Vin fic.

Great to see the team mobilizing and figuring out the danger as fast as they can with the cryptic clues Aislinn can give them. It was nice that Buck got conformation that she actually exists. Love her message to Vin that Ezra is afraid for him. Rory really isn't cut out for the life of cold blooded torturer and the difficulty he is having doing this really comes thru. The relief that Ezra felt that he was grabbed by mistake and that he is sparing Vin this really came thru. Love that he is willing to stall for as long as possible to give the team time no matter the personal cost. This is a nice comparison of brotherhood both by blood and by heart.

Great start to the sequel. Rory sounds like he really isn't into this revenge thing but his brother is manipulating him a lot. So nice that the team is having so much fun together and are quietly watching over Ezra. The return of Aislinn is a great heads up and love how Vin is concerned and backing Buck up. Ezra got whumped really well and is confused about just what is going on but looks like Rory picked the wrong one from the photo. Off to read the next part!
