First off, 2 years... two years and that's the cliffhanger you leave it on? You have balls made of something more impressive than cybertronian alloy dear author.

Secondly, this is a wonderful read, until you want to cry when you reach the end because of that final line right above this review box. I do however feel the need to point out minor critiques in past chapters that effect sentence flow. In the distant past, like chapter 2 or that far back, you'd state something about them going to pick up Sam or one of the others and start with servo and then go right behind it and say hand. While considerate of you to do so, it is ultimately unnecessary given the way the transformers fandom works. My ultimate suggestion, should you return to this, would be to use Servo, or whatever Cybertronian descriptor, helm, peds, glossa, denta, excetra and just leave a translation in your notes at the top or bottom of the chapter if you're still concerned about it.

I love the way Sam finally comes into understanding about how he feels about it and does a full panic in the mess area. Will's super accepting, and its a pleasure to see him represented the way you have him here. After reading some of your other reviews I'd like to take this moment to point out that I believe you handled that well, ignore the flamers, ignore the ignorant backwoods afts that can't look past the point to see the following: If it isn't your body, work, or sexuality you have no right to force your opinion on others. I do think they went too far in your reviews section, and I would honestly have deleted or blocked their comments had it been me. You handled it in a respectful way to those that identify with it, at least to me you did, and they had no right to say such awful things.

I have a rough idea of what your holoform of Optimus looks like, but did you have a specific person in mind? I always picture him looking like Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) in a plaid flannel myself but with more gray, more wisdom, and a super kind expression in his eyes when dealing with anyone he genuinely cares about.

Back to the actual reason I'm really here though, the blue balls. Did you plan to continue this in the next five years or were you going to abandon it? I'm curious where you were going, and if nothing else I'd love to assist as a sound board if it gets us at least some closure with this fic.

You are a VERY sick and twisted human being if you have lest this story for 2 years at this point. How cruel! This fiction is so good and I"m dying to find out what happens between Optimus and Sam, you can't leave us readers hanging! I sincerely hope you come back and finish this piece

First time commenting on this story, but I really love your choice of song. So poetic, and without it I don't think the scene would have had as strong of an impact. It played out like a movie scene, and was just. so. freaking. powerful!

Ahhhh you have no idea how happy I was to see that this fic had been updated! I loved Sam's reaction after he realised he has a crush on Optimus XD but did you seriously have to leave it on a cliffhanger like that!?

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been great but I hope you're doing better, and I appreciate you updating this as it's one of the few WIPs that I've kept an eye on over the years because of how much I love the characterisations and story line.

I was literally just starting to read this and well err... I caught the phrase, "lucid blue eyes" which makes absolutely no sense. Just absolutely crazy, lucid is VERY rarely applied to colors and definitely not to eye color. It just doesn't really... mesh right. Anyway back to reading

Can't wait for the next chapter...what a cliff hanger. Sam should now know what to do before optimus prime leaves earth. Gonna keep looking for the next chapter.
