Why did you abandon this story? i want to know what continue

No no no! Aragorn was supposed to see the wound from Legolas' brother, wonder how it happened and why it isn't healed, and Legolas admit it was his own brother and loads of fluffiness would have ensued!

This is my second time reading through this story. I like the changes you made, though I must admit I don't remember what the original story was like. I really like the inner struggle you've created for Legolas and how it impacts his role in the Fellowship. I also like how you've weaved the struggles Mirkwood is about to face in this story as well. It's a great story that deserves to be finished, I certainly hope you haven't abandoned it. I know what it's like when you stop writing, it's really really hard to get back into it. :) Still hoping for more...

It's a well written story.:) I can't stop reading it. I have to know that Legolas will be all right...I hope so. I've only read 2 chapters so far.

All of the chapters are simply amazing! but it needs to be updated, 'cause people want to read on.

Orcs do not speak "Black Speech". They speak Orcish, which is a derivant thereof, but Black Speech is a language Sauron, or possibly Morgoth (that's probably ridiculous, but it's been years since I read the Silmarillion, and I was sick, too) invented. Not something some random Orc would know. How they got enough to twist it into what's called "Orcish" I have no idea.

Anyway, Orcish wouldn't cause Legolas mental pain, though if the Orcs were shrieking it, Elves do have very good hearing...

That could be cool.

Just saying, I'm not the only one who knows this. And it's certainly cool. Unfortunately, Legolas doesn't have hobbit priveliges.

(If you're wondering what "hobbit priveliges" are, firstly, Saruman wanted the hobbits alive and unharmed, and secondly, Tolkien wanted the hobbits alive and unharmed and bent over backwards doing it.)

It's very well written, but I do think you're having trouble using tolkien-style english very well, especially when your characters are speaking, some of the words aren't the right ones and it comes out sounding very awkward! not bad though, can't wait to read the rest.
