Sorry, but the Vulcan retractable penis is not canon. It's usually quoted from a website called STOgeek, which is mistaken for canon, but actually maintained in support of the Star Trek Online game. It has much canon in it, but the vast majority of the information there was developed and used in support of the game, and has nothing to do with the canon of the actual show.

Canon is generally defined as only those things which are included in the TOS TV series, the TOS movies and the new STXI movie. Even ST:TAS is a doubtful inclusion, although Memory Alpha ( a great source of all things canon) does include it.

Aww, very cute story. I love Jim/Spock. But, thing is, I have just gotten into this fandom, and so I'm a little curious. I have seen a few Star Trek shows when I was younger, and I'm just dying to know how Vulcan reproductive organs came up on the show. In other words, how did it become canon? By the way, the story itself was very interesting (honey cum? hm, interesting) I enjoyed it.
