Cute and funny. Just wonderful.

Great episode expansion/missing scene. I found this story wonderfully witty, amusing and charming. Love the light banter and humor between V&C, and the staring contest game and the way Vincent beat Catherine is brilliant; very thrilling kiss! Would have love to have seen this as part of the 'A Gentle Rain' episode.

(In reply to VC87) I don't think having a child of their own would be out of character for V&C. They are both so caring, so loving, so wonderful and gentle with children; they have so much love and wisdom to share. And I'm sure they both had dreamed of having a child together and sharing their lives (even if Vincent thought it was just an impossible dream). I'm one who thinks V&C would be wonderful parents and would love for them to have children of their own to love and raise together. I don't think it would change their personality or make them boring.

gkkstitch, I hope you will write a longer story that give V&C more amusing, tender, alluring and romantic moments (like the kiss scene) and explore their relationship and how they can make their dream of a happy life together become reality. Look forward to your next BatB/V&C story.

I am one who thinks a child of their own is way out of character, doesn't make sense within their story. But moments like these are priceless, and more real for them... thank you! Hugs.

This little story was absolutely adorable, and kept me smiling the whole way through! I wish THIS had been in that episode instead of Kanin's story! (Where were you when they were needing writers for this show? lol)

Oh, my...I just love this. I have a toddler too and I have to say, after seeing "A Gentle Rain" again recently, I wondered how Vincent and Catherine would cope. ;) So now I know. LOL.
