Seems very Christmassy, the way you are gradually counting up. I almost expect them to finish with a "And a partridge in a pear tree!"

I think this story lacks something, because I have absolutely no idea what just happened. I only caught that the snake was a monkey, and Watson tried to ransom Roylott's daughter.
