LaFangirl13 chapter 1 . 11/2/2014
That was beautiful. Also I agree with you, I felt like I was e only one that would be more than alright with Tamaki and Éclair getting together.
Cal reflector chapter 1 . 4/19/2010
Really, really lovely piece. The way Eclair educates Tamaki, teaching him to accept and make the most of it, one is nearly persuaded that she's not some Evil Woman here to imprison Tamaki's soul. She's merely accepted that people like she and Tamaki are not meant to be free in the usual sense of the word. And she tries to impart that on Tamaki; their marriage IS making the most out of their misery.

Your story does a good job persuading the reader that although it's not the happiness Tamaki (and the reader) envisioned for himself, it can be happiness; compromise doesn't have to be terrible, and the two of them together is not a bad compromise at all. Great work!

That was good, very depressing though.
SylverEyes chapter 1 . 8/23/2009
Oh wow! Another Tamaki/Eclair. I love this couple, and you've written this alternate way of doing things *beautifully*. I love that she's how she is because she is being controlled as well. She's just a great pretender, whereas Tamaki has to get used to it.

If you don't mind, I'd love to put this into my C2, Faraway France. Hm, loved this! I think I'll go back to the beginning and read it again! :D

Anonymous chapter 1 . 7/1/2009
I have no idea how to start a review -since I've never actually written one. But I've just been bursting with the need to tell you how much I like this story (despite its shortness and its weird pairing). Your writing is great, it manages to convey the exact amount of despair and slight torment that the characters need, though I'd have liked it more if it had been a bit more well rounded. Maybe some more paragraphs describing just how much he thought about his friends, or if they ever tried to contact him (to give the story as more content for the reader to ponder). But all in all, I loved this story -so much, that I couldn't bear to see it without a review. And believe me, I've been reading fan fiction for a verry long time (yet I've never written a review). So I really hope this helps, even if I feel that all I'm telling you is that I liked it.
