First off...YAY! Chloe/Simon fic! I can't stand Chloe/Derek. I mean, I don't have anything against Derek, but...Yeah. You should continue this! Don't leave it a one-shot! I'm subscribing just in case... :)

NO! THE HORROR! Your story was awesome but I mean NO! to the fact Derek likes Chloe, even though he knows Simon loves her! That evil bastard! Ok maybe I observe to close and end up exaggeration. Like the fact that I claimed my room can talk just because I left my TV on once and I was in the living room, then my brother turned it off while I was in the bathroom, so I assumed and exaggerated.

I'm going to start off and say this: Simon/Chloe is way underappreciated. There are a total of four fanfics written about them. Including yours. I'm just going to say that I'm really happy you've written one. And now onto the review part.

This is, very plainly, beautifully written. Everyone is in character, to the fullest. I like how you pulled in some ties to the actual book.

Your grammar/spelling is impeccable.

I loved the last sentence, 'Derek had found Simon's girl.' So simple, but cuts right through your heart. It really defines how Simon is feeling.

I also liked your comparison, Chloe versus other girls. It gives actual reason as to why he likes her.

It's so hard to find such great writing. Give yourself a pat on the back for a job very well done. It's great writing. Keep up the good work. )

Aw): Poor Simon. This was written amazingly. It's realistic and I loved reading this scene in the actual book. It's sad but I happen to like sad fanfics. Your writing is very upscale, very good. I personally have been waiting for Simon and Chloe to get together since The Summoning, which I hope will happen. If that doesn't happen, Chloe with Derek would be cute to see also. I mean he used to hate her before and now it's cute that they're all concerned for each other and such. (: Loved it. I would give you 5/5 stars. I hope you write more fanfics similar to this one...

are you going to continue with this? it's the best fic for Darkest Powers i've seen yet :) you're a very talented writer! it seems like the story is flowing... and the ending... i like how you ended it with "Derek had found Simon's girl" :)

I liked how you kept their personalities and Simon's thoughts realistic which I think is totally hard a lot of the time I have to change something and it drives me crazy! My favorite part was the end, I like the idea of Chloe with Simon more but the sad note was nice.
