The best thing I liked about it that yes Fai and Kurogane are completely in character *_*

Even I picture Fai elder and seme-ish and Kurogane with that teenage temper of his XD

And I think it's completely legit for Kurogane to be virgin before getting together with Fai -_-

I can't picture him with anyone accept Fai, he just downright loyal to his feelings and doesn't like no-love-sex-driven relationships

I loved the fact that Yuui and Tomoyo got together :D

Well, i thought comenting to every chapter after this story has been finished for quite long would be silly, so I'm going to comment on all chapters here :D

I totally adored your Story! Normally I'm no fan of character death or even an breaking realationship of the Fai/Touya sort, but your writing kept it bearable :D

And I totally loved the idea of Kurogane waiting to get Fai for like forever :*

You also kept the relationships realistic, not to fluffy or dramatic that is, and the characters InCharacter, even if it was an alternative universe and not quite required to do so :D

I was also really impressed that all the other languages you used were right, even gramatically and that is not something i see often :D I mean, I'm German so I know if someone uses it right or not, and in the most ffs I've read the German words are either written the wrong way, the translated word is wrong for the situation or the sentence structure is abysmal, but you used it totally right :D:D

So and after all that, i think i have said enough, big compliment about your story :D:D

Ahaha! That was such a funny read and I really love this AU fai and kurogane! It's jut so sad it ended but at least they died peacefully together.

Okay, I finally got time to read this final and the very first version of this story. Sorry it took so long to review in this ~I really didn’t notice it at all! But I’m glad I got change to read this. You know, I really like the French title of this. It sounds really beautiful yet cute when it’s uttered aloud. Reminds me from Little Prince…(Even I’ve not ever read it, though. ’)

I’ve a question, was this originally written with dash (-) and not quotation marks (“ “)? And by that I mean their spoken clauses.

This really made me all ‘aww, so cuute!’, because it was really cute. It really summed up your whole “A Very Long Lasting Crush” story. That means I’m really happy you decided to make it longer version, since even this one-shot is still really green I can see it had been lot of potential become a good story. Which you just made. ;) So, that why I’m glad it did grow and become a ‘big story’.

Kurogane’s proposal against Fai when he was a little was cute. Really Kurogane-ish and the way how he showed his thoughts was SO Kurogane. Even he thinks all girls are just sissies he still shows in some bizarre way equality, which was cute.

You spoke about parc…was it park?

Kurogane’s logic, when he was just a child was just…amazing. xD He really was a smart-ass kiddo. Even Fai could hardly answer his logic, lol. That must explains some of the way how Fai acted when he become older, towards Kurogane. Ah, a sweet revenge…lol.

I just loved Kurogane’s ways to impress Fai. And the fact, he stayed loyal to Fai in the end, by keeping his promise. That showed Kurogane was really mature. (Or really silly.)

I believe translating the song must had been a pain…since songs often doesn’t want get translated. Dx It was somewhat silly, yes. But it sounded more like a person who is drunk would sing it with Kurogane. (Sorry, but I just got that kind of imagine.)

The earring. Doesn’t it mean you’re gay when it’s in your left ear? Or was it other way…? Anyway, Chii and Kurogane have matching earring? That’s kind of cute; it shows Chii really cares about Kurogane. Because that means she probably has different earring in her other ear…(This makes me want to see some pic where Kurogane has an earring.)

Talk about karma, lol. It was hilarious when Kurogane went hitting Fai, without realizing it. xD Not to mention Fai’s questions about Kurogane’s life. xD (Man, I just love people who can answer just two or few words and still say EVERYTHING. Lol.) So, Kurogane’s confession was hilarious. xD Yes, and I just loved Fai’s expression about it! It was so…well, probably few times ever when I’ve seen (read) Fai being so confused. Lol.

The ending was really sweet. (I’m still glad you wrote this longer version of this! I would have cried if you hadn’t!) Not to mention the whole one-shot it was just hilarious. (And sweet and cute.) I’m still really glad it turned out like this. This was truly lovely fic.

OMG. OMG. OMG. THIS. MADE. ME. SQUEAL. And legitly; I think my roommates are now concerned for my sanity, given that I sat still for 3 hours staring at this screen, reading this in one go and turning red from holding my squeal in.

I LOVED your beginning with Kuro-baby and Fai (then Yuui), and then how you progressed through the entire story of their lives all the until their death. I think I may have actually almost shed a tear at some point (further cementing my unstability in the minds of my roommates)...

I must say, I really liked the My Little Prince Charming oneshot, and of course, the ending with the recording of them on that Christmas back when they first came out. It was a very creative way to wrap the entire story up. Kudos!

Keep up the awesome work, you really know what you're doing! (Anyone that can make me NOT hate OCs and Ashura deserves a prize!)

I've been following and reading all the stories that I find interesting, you, just wrote one that I found endearing. I have to admit the change of Kurogane and Fai is different, but very cute. I liked and see how you made "My Little Prince Charming" into an entire array of chapters. I loved it, have to admit I read some typos and few grammar and spelling errors but other than that, your writing was great. Can't wait to read more of your work.

I love this one-shot. The scene were Kurogane got back Fays scarf from the nut-tree reminded me of the flashback of Kuroganes past, when he was climbing up a tree in order to catch the scarf of his mother. After that he tried to impress his father and was climbing on the tree again. His father called him a monkey and that made me laugh. This also applies to your version of young Kurogane. And its adorable to see Fay trying to reprimand Kurogane.

"Yeah, yeah." The brunet acquiesced. "Say… now that I'm strong, will you marry me?"

I love the way children think. Their logic is so innocent. And its nice to see that your Kurogane uses this logic even as a grown up.

Kurogane is indeed a "little prince charming"...well, one whose charme is defined as: swearing, spilling blood, killing, threatening to kill his loved one but then actually saving him by spilling blood...sense a theme here?

I absolutely understand that it is difficult for you to start a new story, when your mind is still on the one you just finished. I feel the same with the manga. I dont really feel like reading another manga, because Im still obsessed with Tsubasa. This may be due to the fact, that I constantly find new ways of interpreting Kuroganes and Fays relationship. I reread some passages and then I find something new and as a result this gets me even more excited and I start re-re-reading the passages. Clamp did an amazing job with this pairing. There are so many hints. And Im glad that I found a lot of these aspects in your story.

Yay I can leave reviews again! So anyway, I loved this story. The bonus chapter was really well done. I can see Kurogane being strongly devoted to his beliefs and loved ones so his unwavering love from such a young age was very endearing. Looking forward to more from you in the future!

it's an entire world apart from the long fic but it wasn't bad at all... main difference is that avllc has many angst parts (Fei Wong and Fai being beaten, Ashura's death)that made it epic *-* , while this was a little fluffy version without the others characters that in the long one had a main role.

But it was sure sweet.

OMG! THAT WAS JUST PRECIOUS! I am so glad you translated it to English. Imagining Kuro-sama beign all stubborn and persistant like that makes me squee from happiness.

wow. Kruogane from kid to adult was all like 'marry me Fai! Marry me Fai!' and Fai's like 'nope i need a strong man.' and Kurogane's like 'fine! I'll be a strong man for you!'XD first half of the one-shot was 'aww~!so sweet~!' and second half was very touching. i like this oneshot and I'm glad you got to write this multi-chapter story off of this. can't wait what you have in store next! _

It was a really good idea of yours to end this with a flashback. This gives the reader kind of a nostalgic feeling. And its important, because a lot of us have been reading this story for quite a long time. I kind of have this feeling I get when one of my favourite Anime or Manga come to an end. Its a sad, but also a happy feeling. I like how you ended this story in a very down to earth way. No one is looking at a sunset, no cheesy confessions at the end. You kept it real from beginning to end. And Souma punching a paparazzi was epic (for me Souma looks like the female version of Kurogane. Since the latter one is a sexy beast, that makes Souma one, too). And I think that Kurogane got the best oneliners:

After Fay announced he was gay:

"And I don't care. You're just as stupid as you were before anyway."

After Fay announced hes going to marry Ashura:

"At least now he's finally silent. Good riddance!"

After Fay expressed his doubts about marrying Ashura:

"Because it is stupid! Now you're going to walk into this stupid room, get married and start rambling about how happy you are, or I'm definitely gonna chop your head off… understood?"

After Fay gave him the Mokona plushy:

"You can leave it on the table if you want. I'll take it to the trash bin later."

After Fay, in his depressive period of life, told Kurogane that hes going to be an uncle again:

"And you replayed World War Two in your living room because you were happy?"

After Fay asked him why he wants to be with someone like him:

"Because I want you, you moron. Did you really think I came here every fucking day for three months out of pure charity?"

After a reporter dropped the term: partner in life:

"Actually, that's 'Husband to be'."

After Amaterasu was amazed that, despite his age, Fay was still famous:

"Trust me brat, old or not, he's still as brainless as he used to be."

And of course:

"I'm not in love. It's just a crush."

His struggle for winning over Fay was as strenuous as it was in the Manga (just without the blood and gore). And I think we should invent a new rethoric device for him: confessing his love by insulting the person in question.

Thats part of why I think that you kept everyone in your story in character. In the Manga he does the same. I always interpreted him saying things like: "Shut up, if you want to die so badly, Ill kill you myself. Until then live.", or "You bastard, Ill beat you up." as something similar to a confession. Towards Fay it is his way of telling him that he likes him. Its similar to what he always said to Fay in AVLLC.

In conclusion: I love this story, its one of my favourite and I cant wait for your next fanfiction(I read that you planned a new one with both of them in it. Go for it!).

I think the next time Ill go shopping, Im going to buy a cherry flavoured drink.
