This is the reason why I love fanfiction. Taking a idea that seems stupid and unreasonable and making it into a story that is fun and entertaining to read. I know the chances of this continuing is slim, considering it was last update more then 7 years ago, but thank you for providing something that made me smile. This story is really good! At first I wasn't sure how it would turn out with Haku and Zabuza coming back to life and changing Haku's past so that he can be Harry, but you definately made it work. Since you say that it is not abandoned, please try to keep it going! It's been a long time since your last update, and I would love to read about how the other students react to Haku, and the other way around. Is he still friends with Ron and Hermione? Or do they not trust him? Is he still enemie with Draco? Or does Haku just not see any reason to make enemies? What about Snape? The list goes on. I understand that sometimes there is just no inspiration to write, but it can't hurt to try. Maybe you'll be surprised.

After the part where Zabuza wondered about magical creatures being trained for offensive ninja purposes I couldn't help but think that Zabuza must meet Hagrid. Zabuza would be able to learn all he wanted and even get training and care tips from Hagrid without the half-giant realizing what they'd be kept for.

I found that mental image extremely amusing.

Haku may not need guardian in Hidden Countries, but Harry needs guardian in Magical Britain, so let Zabuza be his guardian, and it will give him visiting rights in Hogwarts. Then make Zabuza lead a duelling/fighting club in Hogwarts, and he will stay here permanently. Though DADA 'professor' will not like this.
