This is really fantastic.

If I was Caitlyn I probably would have figured they were throwing a surprise party as well. I mean, hushed conversations that only last until she's in the room? Right before her birthday? Something was clearly up. And everything really does point to a surprise party... even though it's really a surprise date. Close.

Nate's a very big sweetheart here. He planned out such a wonderful birthday for her. I wish I had a Nate in my life to plan such a day out when my birthday comes around. Lol. Wonderful writing to Loved-Invention and you both!

This was so adorable. I haven't read a Naitlyn in a while. I'm glad I read this one. I would have loved to read their planned day. It sounded so cute. But on the other hand I love the image of Nate and Caitlyn paintballing, the paint in his hair. The kiss on the feris wheel, Nate said it was like a tv show Caitlyn liked. I was wondering what show it was. My first thought was "Everwood" but I don't know of many people that watched/remember that show. I was just curious.

Oh Kendra, once again, thank you so much for doing this! It was absolutely perfect, and the kiss was wonderful. I am sorry that I wasn’t much help – you should take all of the credit! I received a sweet PM from Nata, saying how much she adored it. Really, it was amazing!

And I love how it was about surprise parties... exactly what I told Kendra I was having. Sorta. I was expecting a huge party at the end. I'm not sure why I never picked up on any of the clues of the Date. I had to read it twice to point out how Nate was reacting to everthing.

Aw, I feel so bad that Nate's plans were ruined. I think I expected Caitlyn to have a little more faith in her friends. Oh well, it ended awesomely all the same. So what if they didn't kiss on a ferris wheel, they still kissed didn't they. Cute fic.:)
