Still waiting...

A very lovely AU! Enjoyed it tremendously. The first chapters are very emotional. I was reading alone in a cafe when Ron confessed to Hermione right before the wedding ceremony. I wept and I might have made quite a scene there. And their little speeches during the ceremony are very moving too.

Their little row next day, when Hermione doubted if Ron would say anything had it not been Malfoy's demand, was heartbreaking when we know what really happened in the books. I'm glad we have this story to satisfy our "what if's", in a very special way. I totally enjoyed it. And I really love the letter from Ron. Maybe it's just me, I find love letters super endearing. This one in particular, when it was written so long ago already. I would believe he did indeed write out his feelings when he had nowhere else to vent them. That's canon to me.

It would be wonderful if you can resume on this story again, somehow. But so far so perfect! You have been such excellent writer even all these years ago, a proof that you're a genius! You can't deny it.

Please update even though it's been years. This is one of your best fics.

Wow... this is wonderful! The characterization is so in point... I just love them! I hate that this amazing story is abandoned... I hope one day you come back to it! Even if it's bullet points of what happens... I'm not picky! :)

I've actually read all 12 chapters, but having already posted on chapter 12 it won't let me post again. I just reread the story and loved it again! Many of us would love to see some more in this story. You said that you had the ending written. Is there a way to write just enough to be able to jump forward in time to the ending? Anything to help you give us at least a bit more of this great story. :-) Thank you for writing as much as you did and for sharing it with us. So thankful for you coming back and adding the last couple of chapters.

This is a great story. It would be great if you finished it, but I realize that may not happen. Thank you for writing the part you wrote.

This really is a wonderful story. I know it's been years since you posted an update, but I am holding out hope that you will complete this story. There are so many places you can go with the Blood Marriage idea! Thank you for your hard work and please let us know how it will end.

I have been waiting YEARS for you to update this story.. Literally, years. I still check in every now and then, in hopes that you'll have updated it. I just reread it, and am still in love with it. You're writing style is incredible, and so full of emotion. Please, please, please, update this!

Absolutely beautiful. And such a genius idea. The mind reels to think what would happen going forward if Ron has this new, super-ability to protect hermione, and how hermione'sagic magic might be strengthened or transformed as well. And I can imagine plot twists where Ron wouldn't want hermione to go into dangerous situations and might be tempted to use his power to curb her magic - an ideal point of conflict between these two strong-willed characters.

I know it's ridiculous to hope for an update to a story that appears to have been abandoned for years but, well, I'm ridiculous. What can I say?

That seems like a wonderful end to this fic. But that would go against the authors note in the previous chapter that mentioned more future chapters.

Is this discontinued or planned to be finished one day?
I'm very curious if this story will continue into hog warts and if other witches have suffered the same fate.

Oh my gosh... This story is just soooo good! I've read it several times now and I'm still blown away by the creativity of it and how well you are telling the story. More than anything, I think this is the best portrayal of Ron I've seen in any fanfic. He's awkward yet so charming and of course hot-headed! I'm really curious to see where you are taking this story but until then I'll just have to continue enjoying what you've written.
