Very cute one-shot. Gives a playful insight on the characters and while doesn't imply anything other beyond a simple crush or something along that, it was well done. Laharl, Etna, and Flonne's reactions were all very in character, too.

Also, I applaud your statement in the second chapter. There's no need to shut down other 'pairings' from a story because it isn't the one someone doesn't like. Everyone has different styles and tastes, and getting past that might open new perspective on new ideas and what-not.

I agree personally..mostly cause laharl and flonne stories seem to always make laharl the bad guy..i mean i know he's silly and has as like attitude but compared to almost all other demons he's way to nice. Plus etna and laharl agruing is way more enjoyable to watch

Yeah, Etna does have a soft spot for him, but she sees him as a kid. The son of Krichevskoy. Her soft spot comes a lot from her connection to his father and that spot tends to show when Laharl reminds her of him. Yeah, she LOVES messing with Laharl, cause it's fun and it's easy. D But... no friction? ...Did you really play D2? lol XD There's more friction between those two than 40 grit sandpaper! If there was any undertone, it came across sibling-ly to me at times imho, lol

As for the D3 scene... it's... random. Very random. In fact, it's suspected it had something to do with the mass fan speculation Mao was Laharl's son. lol It was a joke ending, so uh... And Etna will insinuate just about anything. See: Etna's Next Episode clips.

Now, you can say I'm biased. I unashamedly adore LxF. And there's a lot more than just the knot reasoning to the pairing. But, yeah, I totally admit there ARE hints that make Etna a possibility. Just... that just made me go O.o basically. lol

Anyways tl;dr... I am happy to see some Etna x Laharl, but uh... yeah. ;

sexual tension? ._. they are just a bunch of kids laharl is 13 in demon years and etna is 14...and yeah you believe in etna and laharl blah blah blah yeah theres a possibility just like theres a possibility with flonne and laharl. but theres no way of telling until they get older. and its just a game its nowhere near that serious

even though i'm a LaharlxFlonne fan i actually enjoyed this. i also liked your theories on chapter 2. hope you do more.
