This has to be one of the best Valtiel/Heather fan fictions I've read.

This is an usual pairing but I loved it any how for many reasons because despite of how the Valtiel look to Cheryl/Heather, she loved him for protecting her when she was in trouble with both the monsters in silent hill and Joseph tried to rape her. Basically how I look at this story is pure love and acceptance thus this sends out a message to humanity that no matter who we are as people or monster(relatively speaking) that we should love them and accept them for who they are and not be judge by how an indivdual looks. For instance, you can be with a handsome guy or girl and be treated wrong(in some cases) but the one that has scars or a certain disform on their will always treat you like a wonderful treasure because that person knows what it is like to be judge on everyday by their looks and you have sent that message wonderfully in this story so awesome story writing and I look forward to reading more of your stories.

Wow, I enjoyed reading this story a lot. The way Valtiel behaves and how you describe the relationship between him and Cheryl is endearing.

Honestly I had never thought of her and Valtiel together, but your story completely changed my perspective. It is adorable that he protects Cheryl by constantly watching her, and that she loves him back, despite the fact that he is a monster.
