i wish this story wasn't a one-shot! great fanfic! Xp

"Wow." That was a word that came to mind when I finished this story, along with a rush of sadness. I fear that Sylar will be too strong for Nathan in Season 4 and that Angela will pay the ultimate price. Of course, I hope it's Nathan FTW because I liked him again after he turned into "good Nathan" in the final quarter of S3. Another reason I hope Nathan wins is that Peter is stronger with his brother (the Heroes graphic novel called "One Good Hero", featuring both of the Petrelli Bros, has this as a theme).

But I digress. I loved how you wrote Peter to feel empty, to not be able to grieve after all three members of his immediate family died within years of each other. I loved the "socks" theme as well - you did a great job writing into this story. It was an unexpected and welcome reveal by TPTB regarding Angela's secret about the shoplifting.

I still feel bad for Angela that she felt that turning Sylar into Nathan was the best course of action. It was either that, or being hunted down by order of the President. My take is that she chose the lesser of two evils. I certainly didn't envy her position, to lose her son and then have to turn that monster into her son. She wasn't acting out of complete selfishness (as Peter's POV in this story suggested) because she was trying to protect Peter and Claire as well.

I know that you are a fan of Nathan like me, and that he should never have been killed off in the first place. If Sylar actually wins on the TV show, I will write to TPTB and give them a piece of my mind (we can all do an online petition). I'm so over Sylar (I know other Heroes fans are too). I think Zachary Quinto (actor who portrays Sylar) is awesome so if I was in control I'd kill off Sylar and write a new character for ZQ (like what was done with Ali Larter portraying Niki then Tracy).

In conclusion, before my fingers fall off, I wanted this story to keep going. This is probably not going to happen, so I will await your next brilliant story. You are an excellent writer. It's another 10/10 from me.
