That was made of absolute a.w.e.s.o.m.e! Loved how Dean mercilessly teased Sam about the beard and hair. And Sam's reaction was all too priceless too, not to mention Bobby who didn't feel one bit sorry for the way Dean treated his little brother.

hehe, how Sammy stomped up the stairs to shave... LOL I can so see that scene on my inward eye. And hilarity ensued once Sam came back down with the pony tail. Dean calling him "sister" and all. It was well deserved for Sam to get his hair cut in the night; though I don't want to know what his first thought was upon waking up and seeing what Dean had done. Though I honestly doubt he didn't anticipate exactly this and simply let Dean have his fun.

Dean is such a sweet, cutting Sam's ponytail right off while his unsuspecting brother was sleeping... talk of mischief.

And I agree with both Bobby and Sam about the older Winchester never quitting whining until Sam shaved his beard. The two are right though, it must have felt most awesome to have Dean around again in the first place. Whatever he said or did, he was finally there with them, safe at last.

Yet, you truly have an excellent point there in the fist paragraph with "He never expected Sam to become like their father, never expected his eyes to become cold and driven, never expected Sam to look so different", Stacey.

yeah, I kinda wondered why Sam never changed while Dean was gone...heck, I wonder why neither of them have hardly changed (except looking older) in the four years the shows been on...lol...

this was funny though...and I like the last line...kinda tuggs at the heart a bit :( lol...

That would have been cool if the writers had allowed Sam to grow a beard. It would have made sense emotionally for him to just stop doing the little every day things while he grieved and the big strapping lumber jack look would have suited Sam just fine and been a visable indicator to Dean that time had moved on and Sam had gone through changes when he'd been gone.

I loved how Sam reveled in the teasing his brother gave him because it confirmed Dean was fully back in his life!

Lol wow! i think that i would have done the same thing as Dean, Cut Sam's hair after he fell asleep. and Sammy with a full beard! lol
