Great story. Great concept. I couldn't think of a thing that should be changed.

Haunting and very painful walk with Dean along excruciating stages of his life, the bar and the Tear Collector the perfect setting, feels like you gave us a deep insight into Dean’s hurt soul. But Sam came and so perfectly expressed with his “Dean, whatever happened in the past...it doesn't matter anymore and whatever we do in the future might not make a difference but swear to me we're gonna do it together, you and me” their bond is the answer to all of this and will endure everything! Marvellously written!

Terrific fic! Unique premise, great characterization and plotting. Poor Dean...what a life of sorrow and pain. And after canon Sam's actions this past year, I loved seeing him worried about and taking care of Dean.
