Angst with a point, not over done; this is why I always had more sympathy with Mitchell and why I would get so annoyed in sason 2 and especially 3 with how little understood he was by the others. It was trying to deny his existence every second of everyday and the willpower it took.

The angst is Present! In a 'am I the only one that can see the blood dripping Down the walls?' kind of way, yet somehow doesn't drown the other emotions of the fic. Kudos to you.

You had some really beautiful lines here, like the one about the drag tasting like mud and 1918, and Mitchell saying that he's glad he can't see himself in the mirror because he would be terrified of what he'd see. Nice work!

My god this is brilliant. The way it was written, style, the voice of the characters, I could HEAR them saying it in my head! Or I'm crazy...meh.
