Yes after years. I finally found this fanfiction oh my god. I am so happy. This has been my favorite for years. ; u; Its a classic and I adore everythjng about it. How you write the characters is absolutely brilliant especially Yami bakura !

It's ended! Wow, I've wanted to read this for so long now... first of all thank you very much! The ending did satisfy me, it could've been longer maybe or had a bit more action but I didn't feel like it was really necessary, we don't really need a repeat of the manga. It was new, conclusive and emotive and to me it's fine as it is.

"Marik... you're the only human I ever wanted to stay with." That, I think, was my favourite part, beautiful! Heartbreaking at the same time, which is why I'm grateful for the epilogue. I'm happy for them, I love the way you make their couple. It was really sweet of Ryou to hand the treasured Millenium Ring, and you've written this scene really sweet: I love Ryou, he deserves a strong hug and much more.

This fic was really great so far. Bakura's character developpment was great too, even if he doesn't seem to have learn everything he should. I also love the way you wrote Marik, but also RYou, it was really bringing light in your fic.
And this chapter... gods. I feel really worried and frustrated XD But mostly worried.

even tho its unfinished and has been for a long time, this is definitely one of my top 2 favorite fan fics of all time. i've probably read it at least once a year since i first came across it (though the average is probably more around 1.5 times a year if you wanna get real).

i just wanna say thanks. its very entertaining and duke is a definite scene-stealer. i like the interactions between bakura, ryou, and duke. as someone who often struggles with social cues and is kind of an asshole, i find bakura really relateable here, especially the way he tries to like observe (?) the humans and their interactions and kind of figure them out.
