I really enjoyed reading this chapter and the story as a whole, and the only objection (if you can really even call it as such) would be that you are chopping the sentences in places that might be a bit confusing. I suggest using more comas (,) and less full stops.. I'm looking forward to the next chapter and wish you all the best!
