You did such an amazing job of showing how he locks down the Manticore part of himself in order to survive. The betrayal in the warehouse literally brought tears to my eyes, then you coupled that with Max's continued misunderstanding. BRILLIANT. I loved everyone's anger at her...

Fantastic fic! My favorite scene is this chapter 10 van ride. Makes me all warm inside when Alec fights for Max, and is all supportive and worried. Don't know what is with all that damsel in distress in Manticore kind of way, but I just love to see Alec's softer side. Nothing mushy. That's why I love your stories, you just know how to do it! 3

J'adore aussi que même si tu met en avant les atouts d'alec vis à vis des autres transgéniques tu n'en fait pas comme souvent dans les fic, un soldat parfait et Max une petite fille fragile tout à coup

Wow I actually didn't want Alec to go back to Max after all that she's put him through...the way she's hurt him, I mean, I would've made her guilty haha and let her beg to get him to come back. Lol guess I'm just vindictive like that haha

That was amazing. This story definitely qualifies to one of the best stories I've ever read in this fandom. The drama in this story had me spinning and I had to take a few breaks every once and awhile.
