I like this 'Rashomon' sense of telling the same event from different viewpoints, and here you bring out Gene's strength, his understanding, and above all his compassion and love for Alex. The memories of Sam, and the aceeptance of how much Sam changed him, are very moving too. Yes, please, do the others!

I love this story. Continuing it gets a definite yes vote from me.

wow i loved reading Gene's point of view. it great to have two separate views on one event.

Shaz's POV could be interesting, like her feeling guilty and wanting to help Alex because she saved her after her stabbing, and also the whole she can see the flirting thing. it could be really interesting. but i'm not sure how different Ray and Chris' POV's would be.

This is brilliantly written in the way you show how one commonplace sight or sound after another induces Alex's flashbacks, all inexplicable to her colleagues until Gene induces her to explain. There is a nightmarish quality only slowly dispelled by the sound of Gene's voice bringing her back to reality. Yet through it we sense his tenderness and understanding. Bring on Chapter 2!

That was fab Happy-reader! The pure fear Alex felt was quite frightening, and loved the comforting voice of the Gene-Genie throughout! I really liked the ending H-R; the fact Gene took her home and kissed her on the forehead. . . aw! 3
