Great story! I just found this, and just wanted to say that I found it outstanding!

I love this little story; it's good that JJ can be there for Hotch as a good friend, someone to help him in his time of need...

What you have written about Hotch having feelings that ran deep was the impression I always get from what I've seen of him.

He is a very caring, compassionate, sensitive individual, but he doesn't let this show.

Poor Hotch, I'm glad that Dave and JJ are attuned to his needs. I think both of them share a special bond with Hotch.

Another beautiful piece. I can see Hotch heading for this after the season finale.

Picky stuff: open up the dialogue, every time the speaker changes, start a new paragraph. I think I spotted one missing period. If you're uncertain how to write dialogue, read a favorite book and see how the author does it.
