Now THIS was a Beauty and the Best story! I think all choices in the change up from the original were perfect! I absolutely loved how it went the first time I read it, and I love how it is still! Thank you so much for this wonderful story!

Ah, the Cinderella story. It's very sad when someone convinces another that they have no value. It's one of the saddest things. It's no surprise that Baron disliked that story so much.

All the subtle little moves he makes to try to make Haru more comfortable, I didn't quite catch them until the second read through. A very good chapter

The timeshare idea was neatly put in there, along with the very believable Dad reaction to being told that his daughter made a deal with a cat lord. You can really tell that Baron doesn't want to let Haru go, and was willing to compromise in order to achieve that end.
Another well written chapter and motivation quite believable.

'Softly he stormed over' that's a bit of an oxymoron, but quite funny to think of. A quiet storm? Who'd have thunk.
'2 centuries studying that shade of blue' So Baron.
'Main thing not to panic.' Completely logical there Toto.
Then Muta helping to lead Haru to the rose, so cute!
Then Haru calling him pig, I laughed at that.

That description of Baron's first impression of Haru's father give a great deal of information about him, Then with Baron being curious and getting a closer look at Haru was just so sweet.
Than Haru acting like a parents, looking out for her father, so adorable.
Then the ribbon makes the appearance. Nice cliffhanger.
