This story. OMG. This story. I laughed my way across the entire thing, tears coming down my face. The jaded snark just... wow. This story is as gift. I completely lost it at "'What's the other girl? A Chinese contortionist?'" It was just one bad situation after another. So beautiful. LOL.

Oh dear - this looks like it could be great fun, and I love the idea that the counselor is entertained by their stories, but I had to give up on it because that "master" thing is so prominent and every time I trip over it it destroys the suspension of disbelief required to get into a story. "Master" is a British word for a male schoolteacher, and a Potions master is a man who teaches Potions at a school. Hence, Head-master. If Hermione were one she'd be a Potions mistress (as in Head-mistress), not a master, and she'd have to be teaching at a school. The correct way of addressing a master/mistress is Sir or Miss (even is she's a Mrs).
