I feel so sorry for Yumichika, but at least Ikkaku went down fighting like he wanted to. You did a great job with the letter. I honestly can picture Ikkaku leaving a message like that for Yumichika. Great job! :)

*sniff* A great little story about the aftermath of Ikkaku's death. I liked the way it flowed and particularly with Yumichika's perspective. It seems that the thought of Ikkaku being dead hasn't really struck Yumichika, even though he goes to the funeral, takes the third seat and moves into Ikkaku's room, not until the end when he gets Ikaku's final letter.

Aww... his is heart-rending, down to the last detail.
