Yes! Deanworld is fantastic!

Another wonderful, touching, and funny story. I love seeing Dean working on his own, in his own way, even though it always feels a bit wrong when he and Sam are separated. The ladle thing? Eek. And the ghost story was great / really interesting.

I'm sure it shouldn't, but the ending of this really made me cry. I loved the concept of Winchesterland et al, and the Deanland bit just cracked me up - so poignant! You did manage to raise a smile with the extra onions though, so thanks for that!

I can't believe I didn't already gave a review on this one!I just can't believe it...this story is unbelievable and I am relieved that you'll never get tired of me and my "You're great,you write so well and you always capture the boys perfectly"..because...well, this was great, you writing style was amazing (again) and you captured...Dean very very John! Sam wasn't in this one (at least not longer than just a few seconds) but still, I loved it.I liked the way you described I said in an earlier review: I don't think John was a bad or mean father,he failed concerning some things but he really you showed that to us very well in this story.

Uh, and the hurt!Dean!I loveloveloved that!I remember that ladle! *ROFL* It was topic in one of your drabbles, when Sam got impaled - Dean told Sam about this ladle and just like back then, I let out a big fat "OUCH"...because yeah...gross much? *ugh* But still, I LOVED it and Em was cute and I liked it,that Johnwas I liked their converstation about Sam. Haha and loved the Dea-blushing part,when John asks him about his age of loosing virginity...

I really enjoyed this!

To be honest, what cuaght my eye was your mention of Stockton CA in the summary. My dad's a native of the town, born and raised, and I drive up there to visit my grandparents, oh, once or twice a month, so I'm pretty familiar with it. It was great to see a fic set in a place I practically grew up in and am so familiar with, so for that I thank you. :)

Anyway, your writing was great, as was the plot. Very interesting, and it kept me entertained the entire time.

Wow, this is a great story! I really felt the gamut of emotions while reading. Let me tell you how much I loved Lee Majors as Heath in "The Big Valley" - that sandy hair, lop-sided grin, smooth voice and gorgeous eyes! Mm... I hadn't thought about him in a long time - what a wonderful nostalgic moment.

I found myself laughing out loud at Dean's interaction with the ghosts (especially Mrs. Gunderson) in the second chapter - at least until he got "ladled". I just love, love wisecracking, snarky Dean. And poor Em, she wasn't quite sure what to do. Loved the description of what I assume was C-4.

But I can't even describe how angry John Winchester makes me. I was seeing red when he was talking to Dean in the hospital and making him responsible for a "newbie" hunter's death. That man! The references to how Sam got out of "the fatherland" and how Dean didn't fit in anymore, so he should create "DeanWorld" just broke my heart. :(

That's a whole lot of emotion going on! Thanks for sharing this story with us. I really enjoyed it. Until next time...

He laughed out loud. That was a year and a half ago and

one hell of a lot of dental floss. And Bobby had helped him

make a really big pair of chopsticks. Hydraullically powered.

They were awesome.

But that was one good thing about Dad. He would eventually

forgive you your trespasses, and when he did they were gone,

evaporated, like they’d never happened. But you sure as shit

had to work for it.

This makes me sad. :( I mean, it is very true to the show and I do think it's awesome how much Dean respects his Dad, but moments like this just highlight some of the things Sam has said about John that just are not right.

He should know better than to check on Sam before a job.

It always made him all introspective and emo.

Aw, Confused!Dean is adorable... but you lace it with a touch of acid when you introduce the John conversation. But then you curveball it again by undecutting John's coldness with that underlying warmth and love we all know was there even if he did treat that boy like cannon fodder...
