That was really good. I had to smile at how you pictured Mello. It was the whole "mightier than thou" thing that made me like him so much, I think. And Matt was just awesome. ;D

Though I thought I might ask about one thing. Did you mean to say Matt's name twice before he introduced himself? I'm sure everyone knew who he was, but I just wanted to ask. :) Thanks for the awesome read! It's definitely going on my favorites.

Wow... this is exactly how I would picture the two if Kira had never been. Love how you've written Mello (he's so full of himself XD) and the idea of adding a part from poor Jenny's point of view was brilliant. Love the ending D Mello doesn't realize that Matt planned it all~ 3

*GASPS* This is almost identical to a multi-chaptered fic that I'm going to work on pretty soon. But I'm not sure anymore...this one-shot was way too good. I love Mello's brilliant characterization and his inflated ego. I would have liked to see a bit more of Matt and his plan (which had me cracking up in the end by the way).

But nonetheless awesome job! I can't wait for more from you.
