ok so i know this was written about a year ago and i only found this site a few days ago and i wanted to tell you that this was the best story i have read yet it was overly shippy, and you got the point of how much they cared for each other. i was wondering if maybe you could write a little more about was Cassy thinks of Sam and Jack how she responds and how Jacob would respond. i dont know if you have time but maybe if you get the time :)

Nice. I liked it. It would have been nice if it happened like that. Even now they still have Always. Jack will always be there for her no matter what. SG-1 is his family and he would be there for family. Of course she has a special place in his heart.

Yes, that works for me! and it "feels" right for the characters. Sam did become more confident in her decisions in S8, no longer the second-guessing captain or mostly assured major. And Jack always put her decisions regarding personal matters above his own, often to his detriment as we have seen. So, yes, this is very plausible. I think that this will be what happened, in my own little SG-1 happy-place!
