I loved this story at first but the ending was just plain stupid. Duh! Neither Sesshoumaru nor Kagome will ever fucking leave their son, to have freedom. I get the ending, no offense. The plot was good but I think you just messed up.

I know it's been too long since this gem was written and you might not even read this. Also, I don't usually review with so many words, but they just flew out of me.
I needed to say that this chapter.. wow. it absolutely broke my heart. I cannot begin to understand how horrible giving up that much would be. Even though I can see why your portrait of the characters allow such plot (which is beautifully written, btw), never would I EVER expect Kagome's actions or Sesshoumaru's compliance. I cannot picture Sesshouaru (or Kagome, for that matter) leaving their pup behind, even if broke him to stay. He is Inu above all. All that being said, I really enjoy your writing style and how you portrait the characters. I'm looking forward to read another creation of yours.
P.S.: I couldn't help but feel utterly angry with Sesshoumaru for the "there were many pups still to come", part.
P.S.2: Also, leaving the pup behind to be forced to fall into that court life-less "lifestyle" just so they wouldn't have to endure it for themselves? Really SessKag? I'm disappointed. (Still a hell of a good story, don't get me wrong. I'm just mad at the characters. -blush and giggles-).

What an honorable ruler. To give this lowly Sesshomaru his arm back, is greatly appreciated. lol

I loved this story it was well written and thought out, and I loved the charatcer development.

Loved this Story. Glad you were able to finish it. I liked how you didn’t just rush through things and took your time with both points if view. This was really well written and the characters for the most part stayed true. My only comment is when Sesshomaru visits Kagome-sama time, the first time. He just lamely followed her around every where. I would expect more curiosity from him and more getting into trouble like the chocolate incident. Or even just looking into history and having more of a what happened to all the demons etc... other wise nice job! Keep up the good work.

I think Sesshoumaru is behaving really weird. He's fretting all the time, feels sorry for making Kagome go through all the tough times. I mean that's good but Sesshoumaru was not like that. He would never let anyone know even if he cared, he'd be like 'this Sesshoumaru doesn't give a damn!' so I think it's awkward. Not the best Sesshoumaru portrayal, I still like the story anyway...

This story was so much more than I ever expected. I went into it not realizing what an amazing emotional rollercoaster you had written. Withing the first chapter I was hooked. I greatly enjoyed your style of writing as well as your original characters and could see that the plot would prove to be interesting. Little did I know how much. Each original character introduced was well written and the cannon characters were equally well done. The plot never seemed to disappoint. The chain is now one of my favorite plot devices and did a wonderful job pushing the story forward, even with the characters fighting against it. I greatly enjoyed the historical accuracy within this and applaud the research you must have done for it. I also want to thank you for your wonderfully informative author notes. They always cleared up any confusion over unfamiliar terms and cultural differences. This is definitely one of the best fics I have read and I look forward to reading more of your work in the future. I happen you continue to write for this fandom for years to come.

This was a very long, emotional, sometimes amusing, sometimes downright anxiety inducing, story! I really enjoyed it and it was a fairly realistic approach to what it might be like to build a relationship with someone under such awkward circumstances. Thanks for the story!

Another greay story! This is my fist time reading it. Stayed up really late a couple night so I could finish it. There are so many goods things to say about this story. I loved every part. The only thing I would have liked is an extra extra chapter where their son meets kogome’s mom, brother, and grandfather. I thought that would also be a very touchy part. The story itself I wouldnt change. Great job :)

all i can say for this story is unbelievable! darling you have fantastic skills and how this is written it was like i was reading a novel! how you painted the characters and descriptions was amazing. from beginning to end i was into it word for word. I'm glad Yoshimaru came to terms of the sacrifice Kagome made for him and I'm also glad he forgave her. and what Noppoh said about Sesshomaru in T-shirt and jeans?... yes lord! imagination running wild here!
