Nice story ans idea. Shame it's permanently abandoned. Though yeah, the whole hints on Asuhara were a little bit...well, disgusting you may say. 'Cause it doesn't fit Asuka's personality at all.

Damn. This was a really good story so far. I know a lot of people including me wish it would continue. Please consider adding more onto the story!

Really hope this continues, or that someone does something similar to this eventually. This is just too fun and interesting of a concept to die so easily.

A fascinating for want of a nail fic that flows naturally from one event to another. Despite the dubious nature of Shinji being able to communicate with Asuka so easily, everything else (Asuka being brought in earlier, Toji becoming the 3rd pilot, combat going better thanks to higher sync level, etc) made sense from the context that very first change provided. It was also great to see how the friendship between Shinji and Asuka developed. Thanks the how much more dependent on each other they were than in canon, and the fact that Asuka was able to see in action how reliable Shinji could be, the whole dynamic shifted. I even found Asuka's bratty nature causing far more trouble (without Shinji as a punching bag) to make a great deal of sense in character.

It's too bad the story did not conclude, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. A fascinating what-if.

I have to say that this is the most unique fic I’ve read with one of the main characters not actually having a physical body but still rocking the story. I really love the way you wrote this, the idea of Asuka usingUnit-01 is genius! After reading the summary, I was wondering exactly how Asuka would be driving an Eva with Shinji’s soul in, but couldn’t really think of a scenario where Shinji died driving the Unit-02 or Asuka willingly give up “her” Eva that she’s been using for a decade. The thought of her not having an issue with her pride due to not even having someone to show off to never crossed my mind! The real gem is the atmosphere in the story, I rly appreciate the lightheartedness of the story, it is a very good break from all the super angst and serious stuff in other evangelion fics, this is pure brilliance!

You know, I get that this story is long dead. I know that the author is probably long gone (one way or another), and is never finishing this tale. I know that I'm parroting what every other reader has said ever since 2011...
But I just wanted to say, thank you.
Even if you're looking back on this part of your life in shame, I just want to say, thank you.
Even if the author is, in fact, dead, and will never read my words in the flesh, I still want to say, thank you.
Even if this fic ends up forgotten forever, luring readers in only to crush their dreams in its incompleteness, I still want to say thank you.

Aw man, why are so many of the good Eva concept AU fics (Nobody Dies, Shinji's Angels, etc.) dead?

Such a good story so far, what a pity that it's dead. It just began to get interesting with (Spoiler) the Shinji clones and Asuka thinking more about him.

It's a real shame this story is dead, I'm really loving the setup and the writing has been superb throughout. I absolutely love it so far! I just wish there was more :(

I guess this story is long, long dead. Nevertheless, I have to say that I love the idea of Shinji being swallowed by his EVA, too. I wish this story would continue or someone would take the idea and write his/her own story.

This really sucks. I mean, the fic is good, and it's my second or third time reading it. It's really well done and I enjoy it. But the fact that you wrote this great story then just dropped it sucks. While I do wish you'd come back to it, I've pretty much accepted that that's not gonna happen.

Âhhw, such a nice story so far. The scenes without shinji (where he would have been in the normal version) were also quite well done. It's just such a shame that you didn't continue this fic for what, 6 years? I would love to read more of this, very well written, nice formating, etc.. Very nice story idea by the way.
