| mistrali chapter 1 . 7/28/2010 This is really, really interesting, and I do like Briar/Tris. But if they'd been to Namorn at age fourteen, that would *completely* stuff up canon - i.e. eliminate the whole Circle Opens series. None of Briar's Yanjingyi experiences would survive, Chime wouldn't exist... all their characterisation up to now would be wiped. So maybe you could make them 20 or 21 and just skip WOTE (i.e. WOTE never happened). Positives: you've kept the four mages fairly in-character - well done with that - and I want to find out about Seth. :D |
