So you have, like, over 300 reviews on this? Amazing, wonderful, you deserve them all (unless there's somehow hate reviews on here, because those are awful to get), and even though this is in the fanfic age of "I'm not sure how old but at least somewhat old because I read it in high school" I am going to review it anyways. I went to all the trouble if finding it just so I could read it again thanks to the fact that I've thrown myself back into an old favorite fandom. I remembered nothing about this story other than the fact that I had adored it, really wanted to read it again, and a vague recollection of the plot. Like, really vague. "The turtles get stuck with some rare animal collector, and I think there might have been a cool OC in there somewhere that I had a crush on, and it was really good" vague. It took some work to find. I actually searched for almost an hour before remembering it was a pretty popular fic and tried to sort the results by reviews. I never claimed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I was dedicated to finding this fic, gosh dangit!
Anyways, it's as good as I remember- maybe a little better. I still love Jo, not going to lie. Honestly, you wrote everybody really well, the OCs are great. I either love them or love to hate them. it's just overall lovely, and so thoughtfully planned. I would hug it and put it on my already very crowded (but I would make room for it!) bookshelf and look at it fondly from time to time if it was in paper form.
I didn't review the first time, but I was young and didn't realize how wonderful feedback was for writers. And even if I had, I was unbearably shy and probably would have said something like "it's good." Admittedly, that's true. It is good. But it nowhere near communicates just how invested I got in this fic to the point that I was blindsided by the memory of it years after I had read it and had to go online to try to find it again. Because that's what happened here. I'm glad it did, too. Your work was totally worth the effort I put in to find it again, thank you so much for sharing it

And it's a good thing that you told at the beginning it had a happy ending, because... nooooo! Not the turtleeeeees!

This was an excellent fic! A really enjoyable read, and I'm so happy for the happy ending!

Ok, just had to pause here and review because I am really enjoying this story! I usually have an aversion to OCs, but Josephine is great, and Keagan is such an excellent bad guy! The way he talks like he's being nice to them and giving them the "best care" while all the while he's holding them prisoner against their will and treating them like animals. It's really well done. Ok, gonna go read the rest now.

Ahh...alright now, I'm all cool. I love a good suspenseful story with a happy ending. This was very well written, I congratulate you. You've done a marvelous job at staying pretty much in character with each of them, adding in even background and side characters' personalities into the mix. I loved seeing the perspectives of each of them as well and seeing how each of them react accordingly to the characters, with or without the knowledge of the others motives. I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading its sequel. :)

I really like this. The plot is good, the narrative is better and the characterization is credible and canon loyal. Are you able to feel the "but" coming?

As a general rule I do NOT like OCs, there are exceptions, Josephine is a good character (until now, my opinion can change the more I read), I like her as a side character and a possible ally, another (temporary) April if you must. but I'll scream bloody murder if his turns to be a turtle/OC thing.

I don't intend to ofend anyone, but I despice turtle/OC pairing, I can not read them. They are torture to me (I only got one of them in my faves and just because it is more about other things of the fic that I like outside of the pairing, I can ignore with great resolve that there is some kind of pairing there).

So please, before I do some damage to my vocal cords, I really need to know if this is going to have some kind of pairing. I already read some reviews, so I already know some things that will happen in next chapters, I don't care about spoilers just give me an answer so I can avoid something I don't like even if this fix is really good, it will hurt to stop reading, but i prefer stop to be mad,I hope you understand me and my reasons.

And just out of curiosity, please don't be offended, as a person who likes this turtle/OC thing, are you aware that this is some kind of bestiality? I know they are persons, people and all that, but there is this fine line with them being mutated turtles (not humans) that got me thinking... I repeat, I mean no offence, I am just curios as what fans thing about this (do not flame me please). I read a lot about many things and I have this covered many kinks, fetiches and the likes and I am very open about that, so understand that this is just me wanting to know what you think and not saying it's bad or wrong or that I want to impose anything.

Thanks for your patience with this review of mine, but until I found out if this is safe ground to me I will stop reading. This is a great fix no mater my tastes, feel reassured in that.

i was almost worried that you would skip over the implications of Keagan's 'breeding program' but I'm glad you brought it back up in the epilogue. that, to me, was the most horrifying part of it- for both Leo and Jo.

How old is Leo?

I liked the story up until now, but I am disappointed. The OC really annoys me. Sorry to say this, but it's a cliche and I think it ruins the story... Especially if it turns into romance (it sure seems like it will). I've tried to read past it, but that's impossible. I'm going to stop reading now..

Frag it in the love of shell! I LOVE THIS! I did NOT expect it to be the end already! But I just want to comment that the fight was waaayyyy too easy. I mean, I thought Keagan has several tricks up his sleeve.. Guess there's none. He was just knocked out like that and *poof!* problem solved! But the thing that really caught me offguard and made me squeal and scream in here was the things that Don said... HOLY SHOOT, LEONARDO THE FEARLESS LEADER WAS ALMOST GONNA HAVE FREAKIN KIDS?! I swear I'm gonna steal Raph's mouth the next time cause I don't have the guts to say those colorful words! I had hoped you would show that scene and how Don found out the FRIGGIN thing because it's so unbelievable! Good luck with your other stories! You are a freakin good writer ya know?! And this story's worth all the reviews and attention! You rock! XD
