What an absolutley wonderful "missing scenes/POV" fic! I especially loved how you incorporated your take on Booth's reaction (the anxiety and panic) into the anxious Booth relaxing and smiling when he saw Brennan scene at the end of this episode. Have not seen this epi yet...will watch it tonight but I am sitting here with a lump in my throat...you have caught Booth and how he is feeling so so well...

'My hand finds hers, tugging on it like Parker does to mine when he wants my attention. It seems to work for grown up Booth’s too, because she’s stopped and is looking at me now'...

Love how he tells her he does not know what this means and how he wants to run when he finds out...it is lovely how she calms him when he loses it...

'I’m in love with her. Completely, utterly, ass over teakettle in love with her'...

And how he realises...

'To her, I matter. And I need that'...

I am in tears now...what a lovely ending...can not wait for this epi now...

In all of the Bones FanFiction I've read - which is quite a bit- this is probably the single most perfect line I've ever read. It's so perfectly Booth, and how he realizes he's in love with Bones.

You've captured exactly what I would have loved to see, and that Booth's only now acknowledging to himself that he's in love, and not just that he loves her. Wonderful.
