I first read this series *years* ago, long before I had an account on this site, and I'm so glad I found it again. It's delightful. I really love how you've worked Will into it and addressed the different children. Thank you for writing this!

What utter nonsense! Dumbledore has done absolutely nothing to eliminate the rampant discrimination in the wizarding world. On the contrary, during his tenure as headmaster he has completely ignored it and allowed it to flourish unchecked. He allows bullies to do as they please at Hogwarts with only token punishment. He is in large part responsible for the very existence of Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

Heh. A DIR/HP crossover that's actually finished. You don't see those very often! It was good, too. I like your writing style, and everyone was remarkably in character.

As a fan of both Susan Cooper and JK Rowling, I am ever so impressed with the work you've done here, Gramarye! The worlds seem disparate at first, but you bring them together so seamlessly! And what you did with Neville in the epilogue? A splendid way of fleshing out his character and to help explain his evolution the Potter books excluding the events a reader witnessed via Books 5 and 7 :D

Nice ending. I liked the story, especially the standoff between will and snape, and i thought this last chapter very good especially x

TDIR is my absolute favorite series of books. While I've enjoyed others such as HP and LOTR, neither have ever affected me as deeply as Cooper's writings. (The only thing that comes close for me, is the character development of Ender in Ender's Game. Hence my name.)

Your story was welcome reminder of TDIR, and I can only thank you for your effort. Truly wonderful.

I really like this idea, and your writing is very good, but I didn't quite get the ending. It didn't feel fully resolved to me. It was interesting to note all the parallels between tDiR and HP series. Hm, I'll see if you've written a sequel.
