G.M.Rivers chapter 37 . 7/8 This story really surprised me. I wasn't expecting to like it very much, since I've had pretty underwhelming experiences with OCs in this fandom, but I actually enjoyed it a lot. I love the way you wrote Altair and Malik, and I ended up really liking Isra as a character and hoping that her plans succeed. I don't hold out much hope that it will be completed, but you can be sure I'm adding this story to my alarms. |
2.71828 chapter 37 . 7/6 It's been years, and I still come back to this. Serai's death scene is one of the most compelling pieces of writing I think I've ever met. Isra going through the house, seeing the carnage, understanding how it happened and barely registering it in her mounting panic - it still has me on the edge of my seat. And finally, when she finds the body and just cracks, good grief, I wept with her. I still weep. It's incredible. I know you'll probably never finish this. Who you are as an author is completely different from who you were when you started it! It's fair! But I wanted to thank you for sharing it with us. My life is better because this exists. Thank you. |
Sieeva chapter 1 . 4/25 i just looked and it didn't keep the formatting and actually ate all the letters of my amazing visual art how sad |
Sieeva chapter 1 . 4/25 I just want to register here that everytime i think about altair and get nostalgic i come here and re read everything again and again and again and again and again and when i get to the part where isra steals his knifes and he is full *how the fuck* i start fangirling and its impossible to not laugh at his dumbfounded face and its so good to read this story. its like watching a movie, to the point where i can say that i can laugh at his face but its written words and theres no image besides m and i dont know if this will keep the formatting after i send the review. (its imagination written like this ~). i guess thats enough of random nonsense. im giddy to reread for the bajillionth time. |
Guest chapter 12 . 3/31 Why do you hate men? It’s not like the majority of men are necessarily bad. But good work tho |
Peruna chapter 33 . 12/24/2019 Ouch. Kill my heart, why don't you? Just take a knife and start flaying, I don't mind. Gosh darn, I shouldn't have gotten so attached when this is a story of assassins and such, but hot dang, I did get attached and now I'm sad. Thanks for making me feel things, but also how dare you. Poor Sarai, she did not deserve that. I hope Isra gets some bloody vengeance! I want to see the traitor suffer! Anyway, this chapter was great, as are all before. Thank you for writing and sharing. |
Peruna chapter 20 . 12/23/2019 Oh well, no shame in being a bit faint the first time you're injured. I myself always have to struggle to stay upright if I get anything worse than a bruise, nothing I can do about it no matter how annoying. Also I'm happy that Isra gets a little exercise and some (not so) quality time with Altair, because, y'know, I wanna see that ship sail! Also also, regarding your AN: No, people do leave bad reviews, it's just usually concerning plot decisions and not really writing style, in my experience. I've had some people be very salty with me for characters not behaving rationally. And the fact that people do leave reviews means that they firstly: read enough to have an opinion, and secondly: were affected enough by your writing to take action. So y'all can be happy about each and every review, because at the very least it means somebody cares enough to comment. As always, thank you for writing and sharing, I'm still very much enjoying this story and very much foregoing sleep because I can't put it down. |
Peruna chapter 17 . 12/23/2019 Wow, isn't Altair a charmeur? Utterly amazed he is capable of basic civility even though he's still an idiot. Also, I can't wait to see if they encounter teouble along the way or in Jerusalem itself. Thank you for writing and sharing D |
Peruna chapter 15 . 12/23/2019 Nooo, not poor little Kaddar and Rasha! I knew it was coming, but ow my heart. Much sad. Also, I wonder if Isra will ever do the Leap of Faith by throwing herself off the highest tower in the city, because then this will have been very melodramatic foreshadowing. Also, I love angry Isra ... or just Isra in general. She's a great character that I'm getting way too attached to. Also, AC2? Holy moly, how old is this fanfic ... uhhh, well, okay. Is it too late to be reviewing? Eh, even if you don't read this, I love this fanfic. Thank you for writing and sharing it ... almost ten years ago xD |
Peruna chapter 6 . 12/23/2019 Oh my goodness, I think I love Isra. You go girl, show him what's up! Man, this is so much fun to read D And of course I know who Kaddar was canonically! ... And no, it's not from another fanfiction, what are you talking about? Anyway, thank you for writing and sharing, I'm having a grand ol time reading. |
Peruna chapter 3 . 12/23/2019 I really like this fanfiction so far. The writing style is so nice, it reads like old Isra sat down to write her life's account and that's pretty hard to achieve. I'm genuinely interested with all the mysteries and unkowns she keeps dropping, like Al Mualim's vision and Shadha's locked rooms and all that. So, very well done, I wish I could write as nicely as you do D Thank you for writing and sharing! |
Obliesk chapter 28 . 8/5/2019 Still think this is a fantastic interaction between the two of them. It flowed so smoothly and naturally, and it didn't feel as though Altair was ooc at all! |
Obliesk chapter 8 . 6/29/2019 FYI, I know this fic is old, but I'm a big fan of your research noteslove this era of history |
jynxhasadragon chapter 37 . 12/10/2018 *folds hands and waits quietly in a corner* its been more than a year and odyssey's out so lol but no, i just binged this whole thing and yeah i have a new favorite fic 3 |
jynxhasadragon chapter 14 . 12/9/2018 this might just be my favorite fic as of yet, and i love the history notes at the end. im such a nerd, lol, but i find them fascinating |
