Hadn't seen this fic until now it's interesting but I don't like the idea of ren wanting to be with yashiro and seeing still that you have him very much wanting kyoko ut none the less your doing a great job me myself can't view him any other way but straight

this whole story is really good, please update soon, I'm dying to know what will happen between Yashiro and Ren!

I am thrilled to find an update! Yashiro getting acknowledgement for his good work is the best part. The atmosphere between the agency members is a good one; I love that Yashiro is on the receiving end of some friendly teasing. My hope is, since you've left us with one rocky cliffhanger, that this implies a new chapter soon.

I'm so excited and pleased. It was well worth the wait and what a cliffhanger to leave us with! Now I really want to know who Kaino attacked, Jaruzimeido, Yashiro or someone else.

I'm really enjoying the flow of the story you have going despite the month long gaps between chapters. It still reads smoothly. One spelling mistake that I could see where you wrote "the Present" instead of "the President".

Can't wait until the next chapter, both to see who is attacked and how everyone, especially Yashiro, responds. I love your use of the ice glare!

Oh wow you updated so happy
I first read your story about a year ago so the wait was not as long as it was for your other devoted readers(oh looky a jokeXD(kinda:P) but it was still a great surprise to see it updated, it's a really good read, I've read all te previous chapters about 20 times already .
I hope you keep going with the story

I took the liberty of checking on the progress of my fav fics in the New Year. As a reading fic fiend, I must say, I regret you don’t have that time to be a ‘ficcing fiend’ because this still is the best Yashiro fic I came upon. Though, if there was a lot to choose from (vs nothing but Ren/Kyoko to drive me crazy) this would still be on my fav list. Not that I’ve completely given up hope that you will proceed with the updates.

The fic is also written in a non-omnipotent mode, strictly from Yashiro’s perspective, which creates a few interesting questions. For instance, Ren sure is quick to question Yashiro about the cute co-workers he interacts with like Otani that could interpreted as jealousy, but Ren doesn’t exactly demonstrate brilliant flares of enlightenment where feelings are concerned. I do wonder how much he’s aware of his feelings, though, the way he’s written I’m closer to thinking in this case he does.

I do enjoy when non-intrusive hints lead to an excellent read. Your fic is outstanding. You are the rationalist/perfectionist kind of writer I often place in favourites.

Yashiro is touching. The devotion translated as love is a good move to strike the reader’s sympathies. His thoughts and emotions are well developed. His interaction with Ren is perfect. Although, a bit more development in interaction between Ren and other characters would add more power to this fic to make the background also realistic, particularly in the last couple of chapters. For example, I really wanted to see Ren’s speciality when he gently lets Kaino know that she is out of line. Such remark must be worth a thousand glass shards. Or when Yashiro is jealous of Satou, describing a moment or an action between Ren and Satou that invoked such feelings, rather than falling on description and being told that he is jealous might have elicited an even stronger sympathy for Yashiro. However, these examples are personal preferences, and you fic is excellent without them.

I very much am enjoying your writing. It’s interesting that Skip Beat is about acting and analysing people’s feelings and motivations closely in order to portray them right, which is also done by you in this fic. Even the slight anime edge is preserved without becoming too blown out of proportion, such as Yashiro grabbing a bucket to cool down. It’s a cartoonish moment, but done delicately.

I hope you are feeling the connection to your fic and you’ve made a good progress on the next chapter. I very much would like to see what happens next.

Good relationship building. Yashiro's self-revelations also feel natural.

How curious...Whom does the mystery woman want to get close to now? (I'm guessing she's the lady who was run over by Ren's rabid fan, not vice versa. I wish the text was clearer on this point.)

The bento is wonderfully imagined and described, and a clever way to move the plot forward. It also afforded a very cute Ren/Kyoko moment. :)

Poor Yashiro! I don't see a way for him to reach a satisfying outcome regarding his feelings for Ren. It's sad because they're good business partners and friends. You write their scenes well, showing how deftly they communicate and move around each other for work. It's obvious that they both have genuine esteem and affection for each other, even if the nature/depth of those feelings is currently different.

The prose is easy to read. Thanks for the AN explaing the "office lady" term; i wasn't familiar with it.

an interesting story so far...not quite sure on how I feel about a gay Yashiro but Im looking forward to seeing where you take the story
