I really liked this from another perspective on seeing Gabrielle and Xena together. The hurt and pain of this boy was raw, and he wanted nothing more than revenge. He didn't compromise on his vitual to kill Xena and his thoughts were always on his parents and their love. He saw from his eyes the caring and love that Xena had for one another, and Gabrielle being the catalyst that turns him. I think he really would of killed Xena given the chance if he didn't see how Xena cared for Gabrielle while injured. He was a survivor, and the only thing important to him was Xena's death, not life itself. The narration on how he planned on carrying out his vengeance was excellent and Gabbs and Xena were spot on for their antics in camp, as well as their true feeling for one another. Nicely done. :D
