markshandon7 chapter 2 . 7/14/2019 The pirate kings? |
TheOnlyKing chapter 5 . 6/18/2016 Oh well, since he apparently doesn't kill this doesn't interest me anymore. All you're doing is making an OC character with Luffy's personality. I really hoped he would actually act like a pirate but I guess I just wasn't looking in the right place. |
PockyWarlord chapter 9 . 2/29/2016 I get the feeling you've watched Full metal Alchemist and KHR... Still a great story though. I love it so far. _ |

breadbutterpudding chapter 24 . 5/11/2010 Ah, I hope I can still submit an OC... Name: Lowell Knight Age:26 Gender: Male Specialty/Position: Swordsman Race: Human Devil Fruit/Weapon/Attacks: An apparent “cursed” sword named Beninorou (Crimson Curse), it’s extremely long and heavy and is usually just swung like a hammer. Beni no Ame- Crimson Rain- Done in midair, he slices his opponent into pieces in five swings and so when he finally lands on the ground, a rain of blood comes down from the corpse and usually hits him. Beni no Bakuhatsu- Crimson Explosion- slices at the main arteries and causes ‘explosions’ of blood Beni no Jigoku- Crimson Hell- Does a major slash of compressed air or energy wave that can reach at an extremely long distance Beni no Odori- Crimson Dance- takes three fancy steps back and swing his entire body away from his opponent, this is his fastest attack since then he throw all his weight forward and the sword travels very fast and then makes a slight turn with it to make it seem as if he attacked two places at once. (If that made sense…) Physical Appearance: : One heavy-lidded dark blue eye and long, waist length black hair which covers the left third of his face (he's got a terrible burn there and can't even see through his left eye- it's pretty much a white empty space), he wears a black wide brimmed hat, overcoat and trousers, the only other colours he wears is his white shirt and his leather boots. History: Taught to use a sword at a young age, Lowell’s family expected him to grow up to become part of the Marines, unfortunately, the day he did become a soldier at 18, his family threw a party, but an accident occurred which consisted of barrels of wine and a little fire show. That was where Lowell got his face burnt. Since he lost everything Lowell was forced onto the streets, he was on the brink of death at the winter but 13-year-old Carmen Hatter nursed the life back into him at her hat-shop with her grandfather, Harold. He first was rather distant with them but eventually grew exceptionally fond of Carmen as the years went by, his feelings are however unrequited. When Harold came down with arthritis, Carmen was absolutely distraught, they had no money and so Lowell secretly joined a pirate ship and lied to her that he was now a merchant, he makes regular visits with money and clothes for the two and so they now live a comfortable life. He found his sword in one of the raids he made. Harold actually found out Lowell turned to a pirate but promised not to tell Carmen about it. Personality: A very soliditary, cold, down-to-earth, serious, merciless person who's facial expression and voice hardly changes. He is not good at understanding jokes. He pretty much acts the same way around Carmen, but cares more for her and is quite protective. His ability to stay calm in most situations had kept his alive for most of the time. Since Lowell doesn’t look at other women and buys lots of trinkets and such, some members of his crew consider he may be gay (lol), he also doesn’t have a lot of hobbies; he frequently writes letters to Carmen he won’t send, just to pass the time and maybe to keep his sanity in check, (well, he IS with pirates- insane ones no doubt). Lowell has zero ability in any form of arts (music, art, drama and all) and the only interest he has is… romance books (?) He is sometimes seen reading a hard-back plain book, but no one knows what he’s reading about though. Lowell is quite a fan actually. Ever since Lowell’s fire accident, he tends to stay away places which have a lot of alcohol around and especially fire (it DID just kill a part of his face), he can’t really hold his drink anyway and would either start talking whatever is on his mind or start throwing up somewhere. Lowell is also fiercely loyal towards his Captain to the extent being called a ‘dog’ behind his back; that is because he has absolute faith in the Captain that s/he will help find treasure, not matter how evil s/he may be. So really, I don’t mind Lowell playing bad guy. He however, keeps his life with Carmen a secret for her safety. Likes: Romance novels, Spicy food, Summer season Dislikes: Alcahol, Fire, Music, Dance Other: Carmen (currently aged 21) is has a bright personality and likes to express her emotions outwardly, whether they be related to frustration, or happiness, she isn’t very diligent with whatever she does and tends to drop out in problems she thinks are too difficult. Carmen has short amber hair and blue eyes; her favorite colour is red and would be wearing something of the colour on her clothes. She lives happily with her grandfather; the two no longer need jobs anymore with all the treasures Lowell brings them, and so she spends most of her time taking care of the ill Harold. She cherishes Lowell a lot but her feelings aren’t as deep as his, whenever he’d visit, she would take him out shopping or have a picnic with them. Carmen’s and Harold’s favorite type of food is seafood. |
Sliver Wolf Demon chapter 4 . 2/8/2010 Hey, re reading this once again and have to say, it is still good. When are you going to update this story? Not to be pushy and all but it's been some time since the last one. Oh well... |
Sliver Wolf Demon chapter 1 . 12/11/2009 I'm rereading this again but I'm wondering something. I don't mean to sound impatient but when is the next chapter going to come out? Your beyond the 15th chapter of GX and all...anyway, update when you can! |
Kyuuki-sama chapter 24 . 12/7/2009 I'm really impatient about seeing what will happen next! I can see Yami and Luffy running into eachother in Louge Town. Can't wait until you finally send out next chapter of this story. Kyuuki |
Never-Ending-Donkey chapter 4 . 10/3/2009 Here's another Marine for ya. Name: Junie Muramaki Gender: Female Race: Human (yeah, I know, boring, but hey, I'm a humanist) Age: 37 Rank: Captain Appearance: She's 6 foot 1 and slightly muscular, while retaining a distinctly feminine figure. Junie has longish black hair tied back in a ponytail. Despite being well into her thirties, Junie still has a vaguely girlish face. Green eyes. Mischievous smile. Her breast size is modest. She wears the typical Marine captain uniform, and tends to actually put her arms in her coat sleeves. Underneath said uniform is a thin layer of Seastone body armor. She carries several firearms on her person at all times, but never in holsters; she seems to pull them out of nowhere (following the same logic that allowed Garp to have that ridiculously huge flail). Personality: Junie Muramaki is not he most cautious Marine around. In fact, she's probably the most irresponsible officer in the history of the World Government. She tends to display a ditzy and absurdly innocent facade towards her superiors. This, of course, distracts them from her sneaky (and successful) blackmail efforts. She is a vivacious and careless person, just as big a danger to her subordinates as she is to her enemies. Junie's giggly and bubbly workplace persona often raises speculation that she is in an arrested state of development. Although she works for the Marines, Junie claims that she has nothing against pirates, and that carrying out her duty to capture them is "just business." Quirks: - Junie is a motormouth and never "takes a hint" to stop talking. She'll keep running her mouth even if it's gagged. - She gets the marine doctrine of Absolute Justice backwards all the time. - Sometimes, when she's all alone, Junie will speak directly to the reader. - If she happens to kill/injure/maim one of her subordinates, Junie is more likely to treat it as a silly accident than a serious mistake. - She's not afraid to quarrel with her superiors, no matter who they are, over the most trivial matters, like who gets the last donut. Likes: daiquiris, guns, getting a new assignment, blackmail, guns, glomping her commanding officer, guns, exotic fish platters, more guns. Dislikes: beer, boredom, "wimpy" subordinates, being called a "brat" by anyone who's clearly younger than her, stern demeanors, not having at least one gun on her. Abilities: Junie is a renowned sniper; her skill is such that she can shoot a speeding bullet out of the air and redirect a cannonball with a musket shot. She is also very fast and agile to a superhuman extent and has some swordsmanship experience. Weapons: various flintlock single-shot pistols and muskets that she appears to keep in her coat pockets, as well as a lone revolver that she keeps in her boot. Story: Junie Muramaki was good at two things as a child: throwing pebbles and talking nonstop. Nobody in her village ever expected the little brat to grow up to join the Marines, nor to climb to the rank of Captain in any time span. She did very well at first, bringing in dangerous criminals with little effort. But reports of her recklessness found their way to headquarters, and she soon found herself facing court martial. Now, it WOULD have happened, but the officials in charge failed to realize that Junie had been collecting some very embarrassing information on them that would put their own positions in jeopardy. As a result of her little blackmail campaign, Junie got to keep her rank, but can no longer advance. Although stuck at Captain level, she's still able to pride herself on the fact that she's much stronger than the average Marine Captain. Prettier too, but that's neither here nor there. Signature moves: Friendship Beatdown: Junie will lightly club one of her subordinates over the head with her musket as a fondness gesture. Junie Blunderbuss: Junie will hold four pistols in her hands and fire them all at once. Junie Dodge: Junie will sidestep any projectile faster than she can be seen. This requires heavy concentration from her. Junie Knockback: Junie will deflect a cannonball fired at her vessel back to an enemy ship by shooting it in the right spot with a musket. Junie Six-Shot: Junie will draw her revolver and fire six shots at six different targets. Please feel free to make up other moves for her. Quotes: "MOMONGA-SAMA!" (a fangirly squeal as she tackle-hugs her commanding officer. Poor Momonga) "Well, you know how we Marines operate, little boy. The means justify the ends." (getting the basic philosophy behind Absolute Justice backwards for the umpteenth time) "Ah, ah, ah, you wouldn't want THIS to 'accidentally' get leaked to the tabloids, would you?" (sealing her position from yet another suspicious superior) "KYA! Where did you get that daiquiri?" (she really likes daiquiris) Other: Junie's revolver is the pride of her firearm collection. She's often bound and gagged for comedic effect due to her chatterbox nature. I hope you like her! :) |
Ventus Astrum chapter 24 . 10/2/2009 Here is a character. Please use him on the crew. Name: Shirou Zellen Nickname: Bubble Artist Age: 17 Gender: Male Specialty/Position: Quartermaster/Writer/Explorer Race: Human Devil Fruit: Sashi Sashi no Mi. This allows the user to insert anything into something. This “anything” is produced from thin air and can only be used to insert into something. The items produced cannot be used to attack until it is inserted, ie, a bomb will not explode until it is inserted into something. The user also cannot use real, physical items for insertion. As in, the user cannot capture a bomb that's going to explode and insert it into something. This is not possible at all. Weapon: Shabon Staff. This is a blue staff with an empty circle on top. A bubble wand. The staff is blue in color, which is standing at about 4 feet, a bit shorter than him. There is a circular white button at the middle. The button is pressed to form the bubble soap to make the bubble. Jet Shoes. These are shoes in which there are two mini fans that rotate at a very high speed in each shoe. The Jet Shoes grant Shirou the power of flight and increased jumps. There is a button at the right side of the right shoe at the heel. When pressed, the fans will turn on. Attacks: His attacks have his normal attacks starting with Bubble, while his special attacks start with Shabon. Shabon Freedom. A special trick that involves blowing small bubbles into a larger one. When the larger bubble popped, the small bubbles would fly away, free from the containment of the larger bubble. The small bubbles all contain various items inserted in them. Bubble Flame. Blows a bubble and inserts flame into it. The bubble expels flame when popped. Bubble Cushion. Blows a bubble and inserts more air in it. The air makes it feel like a pillow. Usually used to cushion hard landings. These can be used to rebound something also. These bubbles are made of a special resin to render them almost impossible to pop. Bubble Float. Blows a bubble and inserts more helium in it. The helium makes the bubble float. Usually used to fly or travel. These bubbles are made of a special resin to render them almost impossible to pop. Bubble Jet. Blows a bubble and inserts a wind in it. When popped, the bubble blows out wind for travel. Bubble Trap. Forms a big bubble around a person or thing to keep them trapped. These bubbles are made of a special resin to render them almost impossible to pop. Bubble Bomb. Blows a bubble and inserts a bomb in it. When popped, the bomb will explode on to the person. Bubble Blade. Blows a bubble and inserts a sword in it. The bubble now has bladed edges to the sides. Bubble Drench. Blows a bubble and inserts water in it. The bubble will float above the object and pop to allow the water to fall. Bubble Flash. Blows a bubble and inserts light in it. Once popped, the bubble will emit a bright flash of light. Bubble Stink. Blows a bubble and inserts a nasty stink in it. Once popped, the bubble will emit the stink out. Bubble Ball. Blows a bubble and inserts a lot of air in it. Can be manipulated to be moved. The bubble is very hard. These bubbles are made of a special resin to render them almost impossible to pop. Shabon Wall. Makes many Bubble Balls and uses them to stack up a wall. The wall is a defense attack. Shabon Surround. Makes many bubbles with different things inserted inside each of them. The bubbles surround an opponent, or fills up a space. Bubble Punch. Blows a bubble and inserts a punch in it. The power of the punch will be released when the bubble pops. Bubble Lightning. Blows a bubble and inserts electricity in it. Once hit, the electricity will paralyze the victim. Bubble Freeze. Blows a bubble and inserts super-fast-freezing-and-cold-ice in it. Once hit, the ice will freeze the victim. Bubble Sound. Blows a bubble and inserts a jarring noise in it. Once hit, the noise is very painful to the ears. Bubble Shield. Blows a bubble and inserts metal in it. Very hard surface. These bubbles are made of a special resin to render them almost impossible to pop. Shabon Armor. Forms many bubbles around the body, covering everything of the body, except for the head. Bubble Signal. Blows a bubble and inserts red smoke in it to make a signal to tell of his position. Bubble Smoke. Blows a bubble and inserts smoke in it to use as a cover when the bubble pops. Bubble Magnet. One of the few bubbles that don’t need to pop to be used. Blows a bubble and inserts a magnet in it. The magnet will attract any metal items. Bubble Snow. Blows a bubble and inserts snow in it. When the bubble pops the snow is sent out like a snowball. Bubble Heat. Blows a bubble and inserts heat in it. When the bubble pops the heat is sent out like a wave. Shabon Swarm. Has many bubbles attack the opponent at one shot. The bubbles are filled with different materials. Bubble Blind. Blows a bubble and inserts darkness in it. Once popped, the bubble will emit a blinding darkness. Shabon Dragon. Joins bubbles together, so that once hit with the Shabon Dragon, the opponent will suffer many hits at once. Bubble Hurricane. Blows a bubble and inserts a hurricane in it. Once popped, the bubble will let a hurricane out. Physical Appearance: A white skin tight sleeveless shirt under a black unbuttoned button up (short sleeved). A pair of extremely light blue jeans that sag just below the waist line. Stylish white shoes. Brown hair. History: Shirou and his family lived happily together when he was young, until the fateful day when his younger sister Mizuki disappeared mysteriously. The loss of his sister tore his family apart. His father began drinking heavily. His mother became depressed. One day, after drinking far more than usual, Shirou's father started abusing his mother, while Shirou hid in the cupboard and saw everything. One day, Shirou’s mother was killed by his father, and Shirou saw everything. Enraged with this, he packed his belongings, cut off all ties with his father and left the island. The crew encounters him while he is stocking up on supplies for his trip in an island. Personality: Calm and relaxed, Shirou doesn't speak much, unless he's got a reason to. He'll stand up and fight for himself and his friends as well, and hates it when he's judged as arrogant. Knows how to best handle a situation. He is more mature than most people his age, but he gets things done. He won't sit around and watch the clouds pass in the sky; he'll be up front, taking control of the situation. And while he doesn't show it, deep down, he has a caring side to him. Likes: Writing, Wind, Stars, Night, Exploring Dislikes: Being Trapped, Fire, Bright Lights, World Government Dream: To explore all lands. To write about the greatest adventure ever. |
Never-Ending-Donkey chapter 2 . 9/13/2009 Forgot to mention his preferences: Likes: Logic, honey, metaphor, gold, frankfurters, catapults (he understands the mechanics but can't actually build them himself). Dislikes: Alcohol, having his calculations interrupted, cyborg theory, Marine authoritarianism. |
Never-Ending-Donkey chapter 1 . 9/13/2009 I couldn't help but notice that Yami's crew still doesn't have a sniper. If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to correct this. Name: Claus Temming Age: 22 Gender: Male Race: Human Position/Specialty: Sniper/Mathematician Appearance: He is average in height (about 5 foot 7) with a lean body structure and slightly pale skin. Claus has shaggy blond hair that seems to grow out at several crazy angles, but is scant around his temples. When he first meets the crew, he hasn't shaved in quite a while. Claus usually wears a grey workman's jumpsuit and moccasins, but almost never a hat. He wears a shoulder holster for his pepperbox pistol. Abilities: Claus Temming is a highly intelligent and innovative man with unusually keen eyesight, but not to the point where people suspect him of having a Devil Fruit power, that's just silly. This makes him a dangerously good shot, even with infamously inaccurate weapons. He's very knowledgeable of the Grand Line to the point where he almost believes he can predict its currents (he can't). Claus is also a mathematical genius and can predict several things through proofs and calculations (probability of being attacked, location of the nearest island, when exactly Yami will stop eating). Personality: Claus is very laid back and unpretentious, preferring to take his time instead of rushing things. He believes that one lives best through spontaneity, which often results in him making seemingly weird decisions which often benefit him at someone else's expense. Even his combat mode is very relaxed. For whatever reason, Claus seems unaware of his sharp vision and sometimes even complains that his eyesight is getting WORSE, though there's plenty of evidence to the contrary. Although mathematically oriented, Claus understands metaphor and has a fondness for poetry. He is opposed to the idea of cyborgs and believes that artificial intelligence will never surpass the human brain. If he gets too comfortable, he dozes off (this could be a running joke along with his accuracy insecurities). Weapons: A pepperbox pistol with custom-made ammunition. The bullets he uses will either explode into shrapnel, combust on impact, release a paralyzing agent, or sting like crazy. He has them color coded to avoid confusion: black: shrapnel red: combustive green: paralysis yellow: sting He can get a second gun over the course of the story if you want. Story: Claus Temming lived his entire life in the Grand Line. He grew up in a Marine family, but never quite became the quintessential military brat. That might have been due to the fact that he kept making friends with captured pirates. Well, the nice ones, anyway. He had the benefit of a great education, excelling in mathematics and literature. But he had no interest in becoming a Marine. The idea of "absolute justice" seemed too heartless to him, especially after talking to those ill-fated pirates. He ended up running away from home. Several times. Then, when he was thirteen, he managed to escape for good, only to get caught in a rapid current. He ended up on Jaya, where stowed away on a pirate ship, only to find that the crew wasn't exactly the Peace Main type. It only got worse when they realized what a good shot he was. After seven years of hard living, the entire crew got pinched, but Claus escaped, swiping an officer's pistol in the process. By this time, he'd already developed his special bullets. Claus found refuge on a winter island where he got a job as a longshoreman, and has worked there up to the events of this story. Fighting Style: Claus has a defensive technique for hand-to-hand combat wherein he'll disarm an opponent with a fast movement, take the weapon, and knock out his attacker with it. This may or may not be similar to Krav Maga. Signature Moves: Not really. Claus isn't a terribly flashy person. Dream: To mathematically prove that there is a pattern to the Grand Line's currents. Quotes: "Imagine if everything went according to plan. Wouldn't that be tragic?" "Ah, good morning, Atsuko, how... did... you..." *dips forward and starts snoring* "There is nothing in the world that can't be explained through a mathematical proof." "Smart's got nothing to do with it. Your 'justice' is disgusting, that's all." |
Wolffox17 chapter 24 . 9/9/2009 It is hard to believe that Yami and his brother have such a bad history together. I bet Yami may run into Luffy again in Lougetown, great chapter keep up the good work! |
